I waited and waited for about 3 hours just sitting there watching the phone. I got deja vu multiple times when me and Finney used to just sit up and watch the phone in the basement.
When I was day dreaming I finally heard the phone ring. I quickly picked it up after the 3rd ring.
"hello? Lilly speaking."
"hey Lilly its Rowan" I smiled and started to jump around once I realized. "Hello?" He asked after I didn't say anything.
"oh yeah hello?" I said smiling big.
"hey Lilly what up?"
"nothing much how about you?" I asked smiling as I sat on my bed again.
"just thinking about you. Talking about that you wanna go out on a date tomorrow?" Rowan asked as nod to myself. I open my mouth to say something but I suddenly feel a presence in the room. I look around and see someone in the corner. I squint my eyes since its pretty dark and see someone to familiar. Bruce. Wait Bruce? But wasn't he.. Before I can finish my thought he shook his head no and looked at the phone in my hand. I got to be seeing things.
"Hello Lilly?" Rowan said since I didn't answer.
"oh um yes I would love to. Is 3 ok?" I asked looking away from Bruce.
Me and Rowan finished our conversation before I finally looked back to see Bruce still standing there. I walked over and stood in front of him. He looked the same since I lasted saw him. He raised his eyebrow.
"I told you to say no" He said. I slightly jump back the random noise scarring me.
"what the fuck." I said as I rub my eyes making sure im seeing this. "I've got to have cancer or something."
"Lilly. I told you to say no" Bruce said again.
"why? Rowan is a great boy." I said crossing my arms across my chest.
"How do you know you barely met him like 4 hours ago." I heard a voice from behind me. I jumped and turned around to meet with eyes in haven't seen in over 2 years. I take a few steps back as I look Billy up and down.
"Ok see now im going crazy." I say looking at both of them as I take a few steps back before bumping into someone. I turn to see Griffin.
"Your not crazy." He said in his baby voice. I shake my head before standing in the middle between all 3 of them.
"Bruce told you to say no Lilly." Billy spoke up again. I looked at him.
"Why? You guys don't even know him." I said
"Because we said so shit face." A voice said from the opposite side of Billy. I turn to see Vance behind me. I roll my eyes.
"That's not a valid reason." I made eye contact with Vance.
" trust up Little. You really think we would come here for no reason. We wish we could tell you why but we aren't supposed to. You get to chose if you listen or not. " I could recognize that voice from a mile away. I turn around and see Robin standing there with his bandanna on his head and his pearly white smile. Before I respond my room door opens and my mom walks in.
"Who are you talking to." She asks looking around the room. I look at her before looking around realizing they were all gone.
"Myself ma, my bad if I was loud." I said walking towards her.
"yeah just shut up" she said before slamming the door. I roll my eyes and lock the door before laying in bed. I had to be going crazy.
THE NEXT DAY
I wake up around 12pm. Shit i slept in. I decided to start getting ready since I had about 3 hours before he picked my up. I stood up and decided to shower.
After the shower I chose my outfit which was casual since we weren't going out to somewhere fancy. I think.

I started to straighten my hair. As I hummed the song playing in the background from my record player I hear a voice from behind me.
"You sure you don't wanna cancel?" I hear Bruce say. I jump and the sudden voice. I look behind me in the mirror and see Bruce leaning on the door frame.
"Yes. Unless one of you want to tell me one valid reason im not gonna cancel." I say continuing to get ready.
"We wish we could Lilly but its not that easy." Bruce says standing up and walking right behind me.
"what do you mean its not the easy. You obviously can talk so tell me." I slightly raise my voice and put the straightener on the counter or my sink to put my full attention on Bruce. "What's so important."
"Don't say we didn't warn you Lilly." Bruce says before he quickly disappears. What is there problem. I finally have something good in my life and they want to ruin it. My life had been shit since they all died and now its finally going good and they come out of no where to ruin it? No way.
Once I finish straightening it I walk im my room and sit on my vanity to do my makeup. Nothing to crazy just mascara, highlighter, and lip gloss.
In my middle of putting lip gloss on I hear another voice.
"Hey shit face." Vance says as I see him from the corner of my eye pop up on my bed.
"what do you want now" I said as I try not to roll my eyes.
"I need you to listen. You know I don't give two shits about what you do so don't you think its actually important that im here?" He asks standing up off my bed. I stand up and walk towards him.
"honestly your not really even here. Your dead remember?" I said in a harsh tone. I stop dead in my track as I realized I took it to far. I turn around to apologize to Vance but he's gone. Shit.
Right as I was gonna call out for Vance I look at the clock on my wall and realized its 10 pass 3. I walk towards the window and look out and realized Rowan sitting outside in his car. I quickly grab all the stuff I need and rum downstairs. I hope im right about not canceling.
