Isabella looked at her oldest brother with a look.

"Which, may I add, mother said, was the best way to become a young... woman." Isabella said.

"Well, this is what she wanted you to become?" Mycroft asked making Isabella's blood boil. She loved her mother and hated how Mycroft would treat her.

"Mycroft." Sherlock stated.

"What?" Mycroft questioned Sherlock.

"We don't know what she wanted us to be Mycroft. She's left us too if you cared to have forgotten." Isabella snapped.

"She will return, won't she, Sherlock?" Enola asked making him look at the twins who were stood at the door.

"Won't she?" Isabella demanded an answer out of her brother. The boys were playing a game of pool while Isabella was stood outside the door listening on the conversation.

"What is she up to, Sherlock? She was too old to remarry, she had no passions or ambitions I was aware of. She simplay had to ensure the twins a decent life and to live her remaining years with dignity." Mycroft said as Enola joined her sister.

Isabella: I wish he would shut up. I love him of course as he's my brother but the way he's talking about mother is not a way a son should.
Enola: it's nothing we can control Izzy sadly.

"This is my house, not hers, and has been since Father died. She asked for 16 years to bring the twins up here. I gave it. And for that, I deserve to be robbed? I am not the villain here like Izzy thinks I am." Mycroft stated. Enola looked at Izzy.

Isabella: can you blame me I mean he left when father died.

"Perhaps she needed the money. You clearly don't, or have the government cut your salary?" Sherlock asked making Izzy smile.

"It's always the same, isn't it? Always the same. We don't see each other for months, and then you blast in without a care and condemn me with your bon mots." Mycroft stated. Izzy put a finger to her lips when Mrs Lane walked past and she nodded slightly.

"Simply inquiring." Sherlock stated.

"You are judging. You are judging something something for which you took no responsibility. You've never shown interest in this family. In the twins Sherlock." Mycroft pointed out.

"I don't mean to judge." Sherlock tried.

"We have two problems as I see it. One, finding a boarding school that is willing to take the twins on so they won't be a complete failure in this world. That I am in the process of solving... with the help of an old friend. And two, finding mother. This first is my problem the second I consider yours." Mycroft stated.

"The twins may prefer to stay here. You could require a governess." Sherlock pointed out. As Mrs Lane came outside and showed pity to the twins who were still outside the door.

"They need a firm hand, Sherlock. We need to brake them and build them up. In mothers absence, they are my ward, not yours. A wild dangerous woman brought up two wild children." Mycroft went on.

"They seem intelligent. And if you've forgotten Izzy's my ward." Sherlock piped up.

"With Miss Harrison's help, we'll make them acceptable for society. Farther would be turning in his grave. An uneducated, underdressed, poorly mannered wilding. And yes I did cause it's normally the older brothers job." Mycroft tried.

"Well father wanted you to have Enola and me Izzy." Sherlock pointed out.

The next day Izzy was stood next to Enola watching Mycroft.
