Taennie》Alive In Your Heart¹.

The story is about an 8-year-old boy. The boy's name is dohyun. A year ago his mother Jennie died. He lives with his father in Seoul, Korea, in a village. Because his father does not have enough money to live in the city.

His father's name is Taehyung. He works in a swimming training center. Although he was in his school life, the best swimmer in the school. He wanted to build his career with his swimming. But, some events happened in his life, as a result of which he is now an ordinary worker of the swimming center.

Taehyung wakes up at 3:00am every morning and goes out to work. After completing half of the work there, he returned home. To take his son Dohyun to school.

He often doesn't find Dohyun when he gets home. Because when dohyun wakes up, he goes to his mother's closet and sleeps again. It turns out that he wakes up every day by watching the weather report.

One day it is said in the news that the rainy season will come very soon. Dohyun is very happy and asks his father "When will the rainy season come?"

He asks this because his mother wrote him a story book. The little boy believed the story with his heart.

Dohyun sat in a dark room, reading the story written in the book;

For about a year before going to heaven, everyone rests in a cloud state. A mother penguin from that cloud kingdom, saw her baby and cried

When the rainy season started, she boarded to the monsoon train. The train arrived at a small station. The child was sitting in a yellow raincoat. He was sitting at the station waiting for his mother.

The mother penguin then arrives and spends a few days with the baby. Teach him to catch fish, teach him to play sports, and teach him how to move around.

A few days later, the news came to the mother penguin. She has to go back before the end of the rainy season. The mother penguin become very sad to hear this. The baby penguin smiles sweetly at its mother. They bid farewell to each other with a smile.

From then on, the mother penguin watches her baby from heaven. But now she doesn't cry anymore. Because the child can now do everything by himself.

The story of the book ends here. Dohyun looked out of the dark room. His father is sitting and crying and many flowers are planted next to his mother's photo. That is the day, his mother died.

And his relatives said to each other, "The girl was fine before the child was born. After the child born, she contracted the deadly disease cancer."

"Yes! True" Dohyun become upset after hearing this.

"If I wasn't born my mom wouldn't have to leave" Dohyun whispers.

"Mom will come soon when the rainy season starts right?" Dohyun tells his father, Taehyung become sad. Because fairy tales never come true. And Jennie will never come back between them.

"Mom promised me. That she'll come back. And that's exactly what's written in my storybook," Dohyun repeats.

"Now hurry to school. We'll see when the rainy season comes" Taehyung says, with a smile

Then Dohyun goes to change his clothes for school. Dohyun buttoned his shirt upside down like his father, couldn't put on socks properly.

And since Taehyung didn't have a habit of housework, he couldn't do the housework properly. Before they leave the house every day, they kissed the picture of Jennie.
