''Let's hurry. Tara's getting antsy.''

''We're going as fast as New York City traffic can go.'' I sigh and look out the window at the giant buildings taking in the beauty. I can really get used to this. I smile at the thought of starting new life here.

Once we get to the apartment, I go inside and straight to the apartment 312. I knock on the door and see Sam open it. ''Evie! Come on in! Where's your parents?''

''They're trying to find somewhere to park.''

''Ahh. Well? Evie, this is Quinn. Quinn, Evie.'' She shows me a girl who's ginger and really pretty.

''Hi, Evie. I'll let Sam show you around, seeing as I have a gentleman to see.'' She says she walks out the door.

''Well this is your room. Thanks for rooming with Quinn. We needed this.''

''Of course. What else are friends for? Helping eachother out.'' I smile at my friend.

''I should probably go help grab my stuff from the car.''

''Okay. I'll let Tara know you're here.''

''Okay.'' I say. I start to go down the stairs but almost run into a very cute boy with curly brown hair and a light blue button down. ''Sorry.'' I say, going to step to the side to let him pass and did the same, and we after a few attempts, we are able to pass eachother. I quickly grab my suitcases from my parents and tell them goodbye and as they go off, I head inside with my stuff. I open and the cute boy from the hallway is there talking to Tara.

''Oh my god! Evie! You're here!'' Tara says, quickly going up to me and hugging me. ''Oh! Ethan, this is-''

''Evie. Nice to meet you, Ethan.'' I smile, excited my bestie is friends with cute hallway boy, Ethan. I smiles, dries his hand a little bit with his pant leg and shakes it. When he touched my hand, electricity pulsed through my body. I hope he felt it too.

''I- uh-''

''Evie!'' I turn to the door to see Chad. Ethan breaks the hand shake as Chad comes over and picks me up from the back off the ground in a hug.

''It's good to see you too, man! How's Mindy?'' I ask as he sets me back down and I turn to him as Ethan was talking to Tara again.

''Great! She got a new girlfriend. You'll meet her tomorrow 'cause they're on a date at the moment.''

''Ah.''

''I just came to pick up Ethan so he can get ready for econ later.''

''Okay!'' He pats Ethan aggressively on the shoulder and they leave. I grab my stuff and start talking to Tara as I get to the bedroom.

''Just to let you know, Ethan's very dorky and very single. You should ask him to a study date.''

''He's single? I can't believe that. I mean, look at him! He's a human puppy.''

''I sugguest you do ask him though. When you came in, he literally couldn't keep his eyes off of you.''

''Really?''

''Yeah.''

''I'll ask him after getting to know him better.''

''Okay.'' She goes to get ready for class but thankfully I don't start until tomorrow, but only one thing's on my mind. Ethan is adorable and I want him.
