The whole point of this story is to narrate how impossible it is to actually believe in something like this and yet when you believe you realise there is someone greater than all of us holding this universe:

It is the story about Anita who was new to the city. She had moved to the university for further studies. While she was supposed to be there by 5.00pm , due to some delays and changes in her train schedule , she reached at 7.00pm instead. The problem here was that she will not be able to meet her local guardian who was supposed to pick her up.

She was a Law professor at the university but due to the delay she was not available. She had called and told her about the directions to the common hostel in which her admission was done. The hostel was not just for students but also ladies working in and around the campus. The local guardian was sure that she would meet new friends who could help her through the 3 years that she was there for and told her not to worry. All the other details will be given tomorrow to her.

Anita did not know the local language. Many people from around here did not know English or hindi. So it became difficult for her to ask for directions. she did not know anyone in the area either.

She somehow managed to reached the local rickshaw stand. The directions for the hostel were luckily written on a paper , which the people understood. She was especially scared as the area seemed deserted now that it was 7.30 pm already.

But just as she was about to enter campus she met a young girl like her who was waiting on for a rickshaw too. The girl had curly short hair and was wearing glasses. She wore jeans and t-shirt unlike the ladies she had seen in this area on the way. The girl was quick to say hi and spoke to her in hindi. It was like music to Anita's ears as someone finally spoke the language that she understood. she quickly said hi, mostly because she seemed to be a student and Anita had been praying earnestly for a person in this deserted and scary area.

The girl quickly told her that this area was deserted due to an utsav in the town nearby. She asked her about her where she was from and when told about the hostel she said that she was going there too. So both of them took a common rickshaw and quickly reached the hostel. On the way she told Anita that she would go to the stationery shop nearby and come quickly. Anita could get entry quickly by showing her letter from the university to the hostel warden who stayed in the outhouse, as was told by her new friend.

The girl then quickly ran after paying for the ride and promised that she'll allow Anita to pay next time. Anita got entry in the hostel quickly as soon as she showed the letter but the only problem was the room was still locked. As it was late and the workers were unaware of the details, she told her in broken hindi that the room might not have to been let and she might not have a room mate yet. This was extremely scary for Anita for she had never stayed alone any where.

Anita was already scared and now she was even more scared as the hostel seemed too quiet. But then she realised that many people had already gone to the common area for dinner. By the time she had unpacked it was 9.00pm. Now she hoped to meet her new friend and realised that she forgot to ask her name.

She then was quickly finished her dinner after which they were to sleep. She also met a few nice ladies who told her about the time table and that evening snacks , breakfast, lunch and dinner was available near the outhouse , which was their common area of the hostel. However they were free to not take any of the food services and pay just for the room.

The new friends from nearby rooms were quite helpful as well. They told her that the girl she met might have not taken the food services and might be cooking on her own or might have taken private tiffin service from elsewhere, as had many ladies and college students from the university.
