Stupid Nymphs

A soft giggling chased my ears as I trudged through the forest. The many trees towered over me and the small dirt path. The underbrush shined my black boots, the obnoxious laughter still present.

"Stupid Nymphs!" I grumbled, as they continued to mock my plight through their woods. "Always in everyone's business!"

A few tears slipped down my face, before I harshly rubbed them away. I stumbled over a snapped twig, and cursed in my head. Stupid Nymphs. They never left me alone.

For as long as I could remember, Nymphs followed me, laughed at me, and even threw things in my path. They hated me, and I absolutely despised them.
