Usopp's eyes fluttered open. The warm sun showing through the cracks of the door showed that it was day time. He could hear the waves wirling around the Going Merry, hitting the ship. Usopp shifted in his hammock. Something stabbed him in his back when he rolled over.

Usopp let out a loud scream and he jumped hitting the hammock above him.

Zoro sat up quickly and had a death grip on one of his swords. "What's going on?!" He grumbled. "Are we under attack?" His tired eyes scanned the room and they landed on Usopp. He scowled.

"Usopp, I swear, if this is another one of your bad dreams..." Zoro placed his sword down.

Luffy yawned and leaned over his own hammock. "Hey, what's wrong Usopp?" Luffy sat up letting his long legs swing almost kicking Usopp in the face.

"Where'd that flower come from?" Luffy pointed tilting his head. Luffy slid down and plopped right next to Usopp making him almost fall off.

"What flower?" Usopp raised a brow.

"Oh this one, it's pretty!" Luffy picked it up. Luffy was holding a rose but not just holding it, he was being stabbed by one of it's thorns.

"Doesn't that hurt?" Usopp pointed out but then he realized that he knew why.

Luffy smiled putting his finger in his mouth pulling it back causing it to stretch. "Rubber maannnn!!~~"

Usopp rolled his eyes. "Yea, I know... you don't shut up about it."
Luffy giggled and slapped Usopp on the back a bit too hard.

"Shishishishi! Here ya go! This belongs to you." Luffy handed the rose to him. "Looks like someone on this ship really likes you! Shishishi!"

Usopp looked at the rose and then at Zoro.

"WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME FOR HUH?!" Zoro snapped and Usopp jumped back.

"SORRY, SORRY!" Usopp waved his arms around as luffy started howling with laughter.

The door was almost blown off it's hinges when Sanji busted through the door.

"Ok lard heads, breakfast is ready!" He was mostly looking at Zoro who scowled at him. Sanji gave Usopp a paused gaze before he quickly moved his attention back to Zoro.

Sanji smirked and noticed Zoro had left his precious sword unguarded who looked like he was about to fall back asleep.
Sanji grabbed Zoro's white sword and bolted out the door with Zoro jumping up and running after him. "Bring Wado back you bastard!"

Usopp was grabbed by Luffy who dragged him along while screaming. "All right!!!! Food! Whoop Whoop!"
Ussop just sighed allowing Luffy to drag him like a ragdoll.

When they finally made it to the kitchen, Zoro and Sanji had large bumps on their head probably from Nami hitting them.

Luffy instantly dropped Usopp when he saw all the food. He bolted up to the table as Nami looked prepared to slap him. Luffy quickly avoided her and jumped onto his own plate eating like the food would dissappear any second.

Usopp sighed and sat down trying to eat before Luffy thought his share was free dibs.

It was too late because Luffy had stretched his arm and had his gremlin fingers on his plate and was dragging it to his side of the table.

Luffy was stopped when Sanji slammed his fist on the table. He was about to start arguing but the death stare Sanji gave him kept him quiet. Luffy whined as he let go of Usopp's plate which was rightfully brought back to it's original owner by Sanji who gave him a smile.

Usopp blinked. Well, that was new. He didn't think of it much. He was to busy eating the delicious food Sanji always provided.

"Do you like it?" Sanji spoke, smoke escaping through his teeth as he talked.
Usopp smiled and gave him a thumbs up. When Usopp gave him approval Sanji almost skipped to the sink as he went to clean the crew's dishes, except Zoro's.

Sanji walked out of the kitchen and Usopp looked at his pants. He saw a rose sticking out of his pocket. Usopp's Jaw dropped. It was Sanji who gave him that rose?! Sanji... of all people...

Luffy was staring at Usopp with a wide grin. He must of saw it too...
"OH WOW! SANJI LIKES YOU—"
"LUFFY... BE QUIET!!!"

Zoro jumped up from his nap. "W-What?" He said while yawning.

"NOTHING!" Usopp made Luffy promise he would be quite and he made his way with Luffy to go catch some fish.

Luffy cried with delight as he almost fell over the gunwale of the ship. "Usopp!!! I got something!" Luffy's fishing pole was shaking wildly. "Luffy be careful! Don't fall over the side! That's our dinner you've got on your line!" Nami said with a worried but angry look on her face. Zoro and Sanji stood beside her, getting into a small argument about who would catch dinner.

Luffy pulled on his line and the pole fought back with all its might but Luffy was stronger and he pulled whatever it was into the air.

The massive fish turned and showed its big sharp teeth as it fell face first. Usopp screamed and Luffy smiled as he outstretched his arms ready to catch the fish. His trusted sandle gave out from under him and he slipped towards the water. Zoro had stopped his fighting with Sanji and had all of his attention on his captain.
Zoro bolted for Luffy and took out his sword catching Luffy by his shirt.

Sanji jumped up and kicked the fish in the skull. The fish died and Sanji had it in one of his arms.

Zoro looked at Luffy who was smiling at him. "You ok, Captain?"
Luffy laughed. "I'm safe now that I'm in your arms! Thanks Zoro!" Luffy said innocently. Zoro instantly dropped Luffy on the floor with a red face.

Sanji laughed at Zoro and turned to Usopp. "That fish almost ate you." Sanji brushed the wet sea weed off his shoulder.
Usopp looked at him with a scowl but it was mostly out of fear. "Wow! Thanks for reminding me I could of died!" His face went pale with the idea of that fish eating him that he would definitely have nightmares about tonight.

Sanji slapped Usopp on the back with a smile. "Jeez," He took his cigarette out of his mouth and blew the smoke out. "Don't worry Usopp. I wouldn't of let that fish touch you with it's dirty teeth." He gave Usopp a smile.

Usopp smiled and rubbed his shoulder when Sanji playfully elbowed him.

They both looked at the floor when they saw a rose fall to the ground.
Sanji's face went pale as he stared at Usopp.

He quickly grabbed the rose and shoved it in his mouth like he was trying to erase it from existence.

Usopp cringed when he saw how much pain Sanji was in while he chewed the rose.

He painfully swallowed the flower and smiled at Usopp with the inside of his mouth a bloodied mess.

Sanji quickly walked past Usopp and locked himself in the kitchen for a while.

Usopp just smiled.
