Carmen Simpson is a car loving maniac. Her parents are loaded and never home.
She's a rebel and probably the Queen Bee in high school. Just to show how much of a rebel she is, she dates the geekiest nerd in Munroe High. He loves comic books, and drawing.
Don't get me wrong I like all the girly things too. Im Carmen, I have long blonde hair pale blue eyes, long legs and a love for converse all stars.
My boyfriend, Leonard, has curly hair, brown eyes and a heart of gold. My best friend Casidy looks like she just walked out of a model photoshoot. EVERY SINGLE DAY SINCE WE WERE 3 YEARS OLD. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!?!
She has brown eyes, hair that reaches her middle, long legs, flawless skin, she is a total heart throb. We're like the plastics in mean girls. Except we're not mean, we try to get along with everyone. But that's not always easy. We all have enemies, we all have bad days. This is were it all started to go wrong.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face, why is the question?
I got up and got dressed, a black dress, and obviously converse. I took one look in the mirror and I almost screamed at the sight. My hair was all frizzy and stood up in all directions, and I was late. Great.
I'm going to be late on my first day of senior year. I grab my phone and texted Casidy

"Hey Casy, I have a major sitch, need help ASAP, how fast can you get here?"

It's wasn't even 10 seconds when a text came through.

"Just come down stairs and open the door, I can't wait the whole day."

Man did I love my best friend. She fixed my hair into a messy bun while I did my make up. As usual Casidy looked amazing. She wore a tight fitted skirt, with a croptop showing off her bellyring. She was a rebel, just like me. Ever since she and Cole broke up.

It was the summer of 2009, Leonard and I, we're walking on the beach, hand in hand, and so was Casidy and Cole. They were the perfect couple, the loved each other dearly. Or so we thought. Cole Smith is a all around bad boy. He wears combat boots with everything and somehow always looks hot. His parents sent him off to boarding school, while he was there, the still talked, facegabbed, he may be a bad boy, but he had a sweet heart, every now and then, very unexpectedly, there would be a letter in her mailbox, she would see the address and rush over to my house so we could open it together. He wrote her love letters, but he didn't type them, he actually did it longhanddedly. After a few weeks the letters came less frequently, he typed them now, he didn't call, or text. So Casidy started to worry, i mean wouldn't you?

Months passed, and then a year. He came back, we arrived home from school and we pulled up in her drive way, when she saw him. She smiled so big that if she didn't have ears it would've wrapped around her whole head! But something was odd about the way he stood. He didn't wear his usual combat boots, he wore sneakers, his swagger was replaced with fear, his usual luck seemed to have drained everything it could from him, and then ran for the hills. I stayed in the car while Casidy got out and ran to him, she was a few steps away when he looked up. The look in his eyes made her stop dead in her tracks, and it caused my breathing to stop. They or should i say he said a few words and then my best friend started shaking. Her shoulders slumped, her arms fell to her side. She looked paralyzed from where i was sitting. He pushed past her and i caught a glimpse of her face. She looked lifeless, no emotion left in her eyes, no color in her face.

Here we are now, the first day of senior year, almost 3 years later. Casidy haven't dated since then. As she ran down the staircase to greet my mother, i thought about how much i loved my best friend, all our memories came back to me, all at once, 16 years of memories. Flooding my brain, making my eyesight hazy with tears.
We drove to school talking about how amazing this year was going to be.
As we drove into the school parking lot, everyone stared our way.
