FYI:this takes place in your last year of high-school.

5:30am

Beep beep beep be-

"Fuck" you whispered

Your alarm just went off and you haven't even gotten any sleep, school had been causing you stress.
Testing, grades, drama. It was starting to consume you.

But most importantly, you were single. It seems that everyone has already settled in with the person that they would spend the rest of their life with, some people even started having kids?! and you were one of the few to be pushed to the side, "forgotten".

You just wanted to have someone to make you feel loved, someone who would comfort you, reassure you.
It would cause much less stress if you had someone playing that roll in your life.

You had hope though. Even though loads of other girls have been absolutely OBSESSING over your crush, you knew you had the best chance out of them all.  not to put it in a rude way, but there was definitely a visual reason why those girls were single.

You had to confess to him now or later, you've been thinking about It for weeks. You didnt want to make the little connection you already have with him akward. It already took you FOREVER to even get him to even bat an eye at you.
And your connections are sweet, sometimes you would sit with him at lunch with some of his own freinds.
Or you would go to his basketball games after school, he always noticed you at his games, and he knew you weren't there for anyone else. He would usually smile at you afterwards as he gets pulled away with his freinds into the parking lot.

He was really the perfect boy, you needed him.

6:40

You packed your stuff into your backpack, your car had broken down recently so you had to walk to school, your mom couldn't drive you either  because she always worked in the mornings. It was always kind of degrading to be seen walking alongside the road by your classmates who rode the bus, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

You look outside and it's pouring down rain, you really didn't want to go. But you couldn't afford to miss anymore school for the same reason over and over again.

You pulled an umbrella out of a bin in your bedroom, and walked towards the front door, making sure you had everything you needed. You walked outside and the rain had already calmed down to a slight sprinkle, you would be soaked by the time you got to school though, so you just took the Umbrella.

7:05

You arrived

Class started at 7:25 so you still had some time to kill before you had to show up in history

Kyle..

You walked towards him. He was never at school this early. He was just alone, standing by his locker, trying to finish his math homework with a pencil that was basically 1 inch long, and a calculator pulled up on his phone.

"Hey, do you need the answers?" You mumbled, as the math teacher walked past you two. He jumped a little, he didn't expect you to be here this early either. "Oh hey y/n, yeah I do need answers. it's so stupid. They act as if I'll ever use this when I'm older-" He complained

You pulled the paper out of your bag, handing it to him. "Oh, Thanks.." he said with a faint blush on his cheeks. "You're welcome, I need the paper back in math, You can keep it for now." You walked away, the conversation seemed akward so you just wanted to get out as soon as possible. But you were making progress.

History

You didn't have history class with Kyle but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing, you needed some time to adjust to your environment without needing to constantly impress a boy.
But you had history class with Eric, he was one of Kyle's best freinds. You always wonder how Kyle could handle himself around him without wanting to snap his head off, but God it's impressive. He never shuts his mouth, it's 7am, and he's a bitch 24/7!
