Ava's sister - MID (Y/n)

I was packing my things when someone hugged me from behind. It was Devon,my dad,he was crying because I would have left that day.
I lived with my parents since then and now that I was 15 and I needed a place closer to my school and Ava had an apartment very close. I wouldn't have to wake up so early in the morning.
"Dad,we talked about this, I'll call you every day so you won't miss me much"I said."I know...BUT YOU'RE TOO YOUNG-"
"Dad, it's better for me,plus Ava can take good care of me and you know it"
"I know... we'll miss you"
I hugged my dad and finished packing.

I went in the kitchen and I gave my parents a last hug. A tear rolled down my cheek,they were my parents and I was going away from home for months.

I went outside and immediately saw the red car in front of my (old) house. I took my f/c suitcase and put it in the back of the car. I then entered and said with a happy tone:"Hi sis!"
"Hi Y/n!Happy that we're going to live together?"
Said Ava,my sister.
"YES! It's going to be AWESOME!"I said putting my sit belt on.
"Even if I don't know how I'm going to get food for both of us-"
"Don't worry Ava,I thought of that,I work as a babysitter and I tutor some guys that need help in my year. I will be getting some money...while you search a job"
"I can't believe you found two 'jobs' before me"
"I know but let's get going now!"

•Time skip•

I was entering the apartment when Ava blocked me and pulled me behind a bush. A blonde guy with green eyes left the apartment right after that.
"Who's that?"I asked
"He's Jake,the landlord. I didn't pay the rent and I don't want to meet him-"
Typical Ava.
Right after Jake left we entered.

Ava took the suitcase and went in the elevator while I took the stairs. We did a game that we played as children: I needed to go up the stairs faster than the elevator.
I won that race but I was exhausted and I just wanted to lay down.
"Not fair!The elevator was slow!"Ava complained
"Nah, I'm just faster"I replied with an accomplished face
Ava gave me a copy of the key of the apartment and made me open the door.
The apartment was way bigger than what I expected.
"HOW DID YOU GET THIS HOUSE-?YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A JOB-"I asked.
"Well,I have some little jobs that Mrs.Oats makes me do."she answered.
"Who-?"
"Oh,Mrs.Oats!My neighbor,she always helps me with money!"
She never talked about her neighborhood but I didn't pay attention to that because all I wanted to do in that moment was just lay down and organise my things so I asked:"Where's my room?"
"Well, you're going to sleep in my room. It's over there; go organise and I'll make a snack,pops told me you didn't eat breakfast"
"Yeah, that's true. I didn't because I was excited for today! Anyways,can you make me a-"
"-sandwich with jam and peanut butter?"
"YESS!You know me too well Ava!
While Ava started making the sandwich I went in my new room.

The room was only half decorated: There was a pink bed and a bedside table with an anime figure and a book. I didn't really understand wich character it was but it seemed cool. There were some posters on the walls. On the other half there was a bed with sheets of my favourite colour and a plushie. After I saw the bed I immediately laid on it and closed my eyes. I think I slept a bit but four paws laying on my stomach woke me up. It was Johnny, Ava's cat.
"Aw,I wanted to sleep- But I gues you're right Johnny: I still need to sort out my things."

After some time someone knocked on the door and Ava came in with two sandwiches. I sat on her bed and she did too. We ate our sandwiches and between the bites I said: "I already love this place!"
