Bad Day

Two Years Ago

Zayn's POV

"Julia, babe, I miss you." I smiled at her through the computer screen.

"I miss you too Zayn...I can't wait to see you in person and just hug you and never let go." she said. Her smile was so beautiful to see. I hate talking to her on Skype...I can't hold her hand and kiss her.

"Me either babe...but I need to tell you something." I said reluctantly. A pain grew in my chest. 

"What is it babe?" she asked. 

"O-Our management...they are making me break up with you." I said. Her face went blank. She lost all expression.

"Wh-What? They can't do that..can they?" she asked. I could see the tears building in her beautiful hazel eyes. 

"I'm afraid they can Julia. I don't want to...I have too. You know I love you princess." I said feeling like crying. 

"Zayn...d-don't, I love you...I thought we were going to be forever." she cried. Seeing her upset like this made me sick. 

"Jules, I love you too and you know that..but I have to do this." I said. 

"Why?" she cried.

"Because I guess we are trying to get this girl band publicity. But baby, I don't want to try to love someone else, I want to love you." I said. She cried harder. "P-Please don't cry Julia...we'll be together soon enough, I promise." I

"Zayn, we need to go. Come on." Liam said popping his head into my room. I nodded. 

"Babe, I have to say goodbye. I love you." I said. 

"Bye...I love you too." she said then hung up. I closed my laptop and laid back on my bed. "Fuck!" I yelled. 

*Present Day*

Zayn’s POV

I sat in the car, half asleep, with my head on Niall’s shoulder. We were on our way to Ed’s recording studio to listen in on his newer songs. I was excited on the inside, but just bummed on the outside. Today, it has been 2 years since I was forced to break up with my amazing ex girlfriend Julia. It is just been a bad day. I felt the car stop and turn off. I lifted my head and took my seat belt off. There were girls everywhere as always. No one has ever been as beautiful as Julia, and no one will ever be. I sighed. “What’s wrong Zayn?” Niall asked. “Ah nothing man...just a little tired...I couldn’t sleep last night.” I lied. “Are you sure?” He asked. “Yeah.” I reassured. 

We got to Ed’s room. He was in the booth. He is just an amazing artist. He stopped singing and stepped out. “Hey lads! Glad you could make it.” he smiled. “hey.” we all said in a response. “Zayn you look down, what’s wrong?” Ed asked me. “Nothing.” I shook my head. He shrugged. “How was the tour lads?” he asked. “It was so fun!” Louis said. I smiled. That is was. We had such a great time, except for the Zux fan fic that nearly ruined me...but other than that everything was brilliant. Then a very beautiful girl walked in. “Hey beautiful.” Ed smiled at her. Oh god...is that Julia? No, it can’t be.

“Hi Eddy. I didn’t know we were going to have company in the studio today.” She smiled. “I’m sorry Julia...I must have forgot to tell you I invited the boys today. I hope you don’t mind.” He said. It was Julia. She is so beautiful. Maybe more than before. I miss her so much. “No, I don’t mind. Hi boys, I’m Julia.” she smiled. “I know...do you not remember me?” I asked. She looked at me. “Zayn?! Oh my goodness!” she smiled. “You two know each other?” Ed  asked. “Yeah. We dated a while ago...How bizarre is that...us running into each other like this.” she said, “Oh..well...this is cool.” Ed smiled. I nodded. I am just dying inside. I still love this girl. It’s just not fair that goddamn management made me break up with her. 

“You look good Jules.” I said. “So do you Zayn.” she smiled, as Ed wrapped his arm around her waist. God was this killing me. “Hey babe, will you play the guitar in this song for me?” Ed asked her. She nodded. She walked into the booth and put a guitar on. “Lads, mind working the panel for me?” he asked. We all agreed and set up. I couldn’t stop staring at Julia. She was so beautiful...how did they even meet?
