It's been two days since I met Ellie we gotten along pretty well.We both didnt wanna be one of those people who bonded over trauma. Beacaus we simply didn't know each other that well.
Instead we've decided to bond over other things,more important things.

Food

"What do you mean Hershey is the better chocolate it's obviously nutty butter!."I say in astonishment though I've never tried it nutty is.The best thing I've ever put in my mouth.

"Ok one. Hershey is delectable the most amazingly delicious thing. Ever. The way it just melts in your mouth how creamy it gets and two, what the hell is a.Nutty. Butter?!."she said with a discusted face while picking at her hand.

"The most delivering thing ever and don't ever say creamy like that again and-"before I could finish the bitch walked through the door.

She threw Ellie her book bag and she didn't take a second to pull out her knife.Me ,I'm sitting on the wall looking bored as ever but inside I'm angry and I'm hurt.

Then Ellie started to beg to go home and to be completely honest I wasn't paying attention.

"You both have a bigger purpose then any of us."yeah that got my attention.

"You Ellie are immune to the bite and you dolly-"

They both look at me as if I'm said the most stupid thing ever.

"Dolly you -huh I don't exactly know what you can do ,but i know they don't attack you.So here's what going to happen, I'm gonna take you to a base camp out west then they will take you to the doctors and run some tests... to find a cure"me and Ellie look at each other then back at bitch bag.

We got up and stood by the door and waited.
"Why are we even up ,Ellie we should just stay back,you know like dickwade said!!."I say but she ignores me .

"Yeah just ignore me like I'm a ghost or something-ELLIE!?!"she threw open the door and jumps on a man who I have seen around.Joe I think his name's was?.

When Ellie was on the ground and I still standing in the door way shocked ,I look up at him with my mouth gaped.

"Do I need to throw you to?."he raised his eyebrows in warning.

"No need I'm going"I laughed nervously and sat on the ground by Ellie.
Then the " grown ups" started talking while I listened to the voices or the "people" talking.when they talk it's like a static noise goes over everything else.Today Mandy is talking she was a woman that had no children or friends at the age of 40.One day she went outside and didn't see it coming .With a big inhale of breath through my nose,I was back to reality.Joel looked over at me strangely but I just smiled and looked around with confusion.

And with that I was of to my room and herd the woman talk.

"Is she a little slow or"she said dragging the r .

"No she just has a hard time paying attention."

I walked down pretending I didn't hear anything.Is that how people really think of me ?. I wonder what Ellie thinks.
