"ASHLYNN MARIE!"
I groaned as I heard my mother yell from the bottom of the stairs. I rub my eyes and glance at my phone. 7 AM? On a Saturday? What the hell? I pull my comforter over my head and sigh. The smell of my freshly washed sheets brings a smile to my face.
"ASHLYNN! GET YOUR ASS OUT OF BED NOW!"
I throw my covers off my and touch the floor with the tips of my toes. I close my eyes and brace myself for the cold as I jump out of my bed. I stretch and glance at myself in my full length mirror. My auburn hair just hits my shoulder blades and my bangs sweep across my forhead. My medium blue eyes are the most prominent feature on my face.
I walk out of my room and down the steps to the kitchen, where I see my mom rushing around, "Mom, are you okay?" She looks up at me, and keeps rushing around. I raise my eyebrow at her and walk to the pantry. I take out a box of Lucky Charms and sit down at the table.
"So mom, why did you get me up at 7?" I keep eating my dry cereal while she finally sits down and eats.
"You're babysitting today rememer?" I groan. My best friends Ayden and Blake we're supposed to come over. Theyre trying desperately to teach me how to play guitar. They haven't given up yet, but it's only a matter of time.
"Can Ayden and Blake still come over?" I cross my fingers hoping that she won't care. She nods and gives me a kiss goodbye. I smile and run upstairs to get a shower.
