He sighed, placing his phone on his blanket in frustration. As he ran his veiny hands through his silver hair. Laying back, staring at the ceiling.
He felt a slight pang sensation in his heart. One that never wavered. Perhaps it was the faint interactions he had shared with a man for one night. Perhaps it was sleeping with him, that had Yoongi to a point of no return.
Perhaps it was even something as foolish as love at first sight. Yet whatever it was, he felt to a far from return.
His thoughts however get interrupted by a ring of his doorbell. Walking towards it, unlocking the door to be greeted by no other. Jeon Jungkook, his childhood best friend.
"YOO YOONGZ!! how have you been?" He said playing down various bags that most likely contained food.
"Could be better," he exhaled sharply, running his fingers through his dyed hair. Jungkook instantly noticing the off energy around the elder.
"What's going on?" He said, as he was taking off his shoes and hanging his coat.
"Jungkook, I slept with Jimin."
Jungkook's eyes widened. His motions stopping. Holding his coat just a millisecond before hanging it. The boy was as still as stone. His lips briefly agape. His face turning slightly pale.
"Are you okay?"
"You did what?" jungkook stood still, Yoongi's face hurried in his hands in shame. Sitting in one of the chairs of his dining room.
"I slept with Jimin, the night of the party. I wanted to get to know him more, but he keeps refusing me. We had chemistry, it's like he's pushing me away. Yet I find myself being so drawn to levels I've never even experienced before."
Jungkook took a seat beside him, placing his hand over the older's. Giving him a comforting smile, while looking into his eyes. Although he wanted to comfort yoongi , he was holding back tears of his own.
"Don't worry, you'll figure this out! I'll talk to Jimin when I can, I'll put in a good word for you."
"Thank you Jungkook, you're a really great friend."
'Friend? Friend is all I'll ever be to you,' he thought, but his smile said otherwise.
