Chapter 7

Spencers POV
We all rushed into her room. She was sound asleep on the hospital bed. She She looked so pale and weak. She was beautiful when she was sleeping....uhhh...

Everyone left after 10 minutes to go get food. I stayed with Abby just in case she woke up. She started to open her eyes.

"Abby your OK, we are just at the hospital. Don't worry everyone is here."

"Spencer.....uhhhh....what happened".

"You blacked out in the ambulance on the way here. You didn't suffer anything major. Just some cuts and stab wounds". She looked at me like I was crazy or something.

"Where's my dad at". She started to frantically look around, making sure he wasn't here. I quickly grabbed her hand and told her everything was all right. She looked at me shocked. I'm not really good with girls but whatever. Morgan's and Garcia walked in right as I let her hand go.

"My baby girl is up. How are you doing Abby". Morgan said to Abby.

"Umm I feel better now then I did before". We all laughter including Abby.

"The doctor said you can leave tomorrow morning if you feel up to it". Garcia said all cheerfully to Abby.

I knew Abby wanted to get out of this place as soon as she could and I wanted her to get better. Morgan winked at me and said "come on Garcia let the love birds chat for a while". As they walked away I cursed at Morgan under my breath.

"Abby what did your father do to you when you were little" I asked curiously.

"When I was bad he would beat me with his belt or burn me with metal. I was always good at hiding everything up do no on noticed. That is why I left when I was 18 because he became more violent when I got older. I...I just couldn't do it anymore.....If....If I stayed in thatt house he would have killed me like he did to my mother".

Abby was crying now. I sat on the bed with her and hugged her. she hugged back which was shocking. I wondered if she liked me. She couldn't stop crying. She put her head on my chest and I started messing with her hair.

"I'm sorry Abby for all you went through but your mother was killed in a car accident. It wasn't her fault".

"No No No he he told me he killed her. He said he drugged her before we left. I wish he killed me".

I couldn't believe what she said "Abby don't say that the team is family and we would miss you like crazy".

She stopped crying for a bit and fell asleep. I needed some sleep too but I knew I wasn't going to get any. A few minutes later Rossi walked in her room. She still had her head on my chest so it was awkward.

"Hmmm so you guys together yet".

"Rossi"

"OK ok calm down so do you like her or do you like hanging out with her". He pointed to her sleeping on me. "Its not like that" I started to say but stopped.

"You guys would make a cute couple just saying".

"Did you know when people are sleeping they can still hear you".

"So you do like her".

"Rossi I will tell you if we drop the topic".

"Ok ok" he said with a large grin.

"Yes I do like her but I don't know if she likes me back".

"Well boy you just need to find out. Probably not now since she just went through all that torched and seeing her dad killed right infront of her. Ask her went the time is right and Spencer promise me something" He said laughing.

"What"

"Promise me you'll be good to her because right now she's the only one that can stand you and your facts"

We both laughed

What Rossi and I didn't know is that Abby woke up a few minutes after Rossi came in to the room and she heard everything we said about her.
