Hunter was an incredible commander, how he managed to deal with these guys on a constant basis you had no idea. You were only a few hours into your 'vacation' where you were hiding from the imperial group searching Ord Mantell and you already felt like boredom had seeped deep into your bones.

There was nothing to do, the heat was just beginning to rise, and the main person everyone looked to for guidance and instruction was Hunter. At the moment he was speaking with Tech inside the Marauder, supposedly coming up with training plans. In the meantime, you were watching Echo clean dust out of his robotic arm, and Omega was showing Wrecker how to do a cartwheel. Both are as entertaining as they sound.

Wrecker had almost given himself a black eye before Hunter and Tech had exited the ship. "We've come up with some things to work on while we are stuck here" Hunter began, everyone perking up and coming closer to hear what he had to say.

"Since we are out here at this camp, we can treat it like a training camp. We will need to have short rotations of scouts keeping an eye on the mining areas while we are here, and during the heat of the day we should shelter down in our ships. This leaves early morning and late evening to improve our skills, and 'team build' if you will."

There were a couple sighs from the group, but anything was better than this current boredom. Tech butted in " we should use this time wisely to improve and plan. It may be some time before we have space and availability like this again".

No one was disagreeing with him, but everyone missed the sense of direction and importance that a busy mission would provide. Hunter continued where he had left off, "So far, only Echo and I have gone around the area. I'd like to take a mission out before it gets too hot and another one this evening depending on how today goes."

Even in your foggy boredom, you felt a spark of energy. You had really wanted to go scouting with Hunter before, and now you might get to. Your change in demeanor does not go unnoticed but Hunter has a few more things to say "Tech's calculations state that the heat will be well over 100 degrees today. Everyone needs to stay hydrated and cool. Once the sun starts coming over this edge," he points to a rock near the camp corner "we will need to finish whatever task we are on and head into the Marauder. Tech and Echo will work on wiring a cooling system that we will use today".

Echo doesn't look very excited, but he understands why Hunter has requested him to work with Tech on this and nodded in agreement.

"Let's hope it works" Wrecker commented "Being hot sucks".

You weren't sure what cooling capacities your ship had, and since Felucia was a moderate, to warm and humid, this type of higher heat was foreign to you. You had assumed you would be joining the guys for meals, but otherwise would remain independently located in your own ship. Sleeping on your own, and in this case handling the heat on your own.

Tech noticed the thoughtful expression on your face as you were thinking about how you would keep your own ship cool. "Everyone is expected on the Marauder by 10:45 today" He commented before turning and heading back up into the ship.

--Guess that includes me-- you thought, picking yourself up as the group dispersed --I'll want to transfer a pillow and some cooler clothes into their ship. Although, I don't really have anything cooler--. Your clothing was limited to your more professional attire for the parlor, and of course your suit blacks and armor. You had still kept the jedi robes tucked away for now. No doubt if the cooling system worked well enough you would be just fine in your blacks, which were very breathable.

After you grabbed a pillow cushion for yourself and headed back to the Marauder Hunter intercepted you. "You seemed eager to go scouting this morning, why don't you join me for this morning's round?".
