She stood there confused for a moment. After a while of Niari standing there, Lacie arrived at school. Lacie noticed Niari just standing there. Lacie walked up to Niari and tapped her on the back
Lacie: you good?
Niari:....yea sorry I just got lost in my thoughts
Lacie: ok well the bell is about to ring. Do you want me to walk you to class?
Niari: sure
They started walking to Niari's class when they saw the rest of their friends. Niari couldn't believe what was in front of her. She didn't think that those were her friends.
Lacie:hey guys
Everyone else (except Niari): hi...
They chatted for a while then they heard a teacher call out
Teacher: 1 minute
They all said their goodbyes and went to their classes. As Niari was in her class her mind wandered off. She started thinking about how her friends got over there so fast and why she didn't notice them before. She then got startled by the bell. She packed up her stuff and left to meet up with her friends. She started walking down the hall but something was off. It felt like everything was slowed down. Niari's heart was pounding. The Erie feeling returned. It was like something was watching her every move.
