My Neighbour's window

Part II

Y/N POV

Have you ever felt empty within yourself? Not hunger, just emotionally, mentally empty? At first I thought if I worked hard and earned money I would fill this void inside me, but the more I worked the bigger the void grew big.
I moved to Korea hoping to have a new beginning, a new life, but maybe I need to reborn, maybe things will get better.

It's been a long weekend, and this Friday I decided to drink a little, I'm not good at getting drunk, I always end up doing silly things, but since I'll be drinking alone tonight it shall be fine.
As I get home I take off my work clothes and put on a huge t-shirt, that's the good part of living alone, you're free to do whatever you want. I decided to stay at my veranda as usual and drink the white wine I got as gift at work, I thought I'd drink it in a special day, or on my birthday, but I guess the weekend is reason enough to commemorate.

I put on some music and dance, hopefully nobody sees how terrible I'm in dancing. I guess the wine is too strong, because I'm already feeling drunk.
While dancing my bracelet falls off and get stuck in the sealing, I try to reach it, but I guess I'm too drunk to be climbing here. I put one leg on the other side of the sealing hoping it will help me reaching it.
It's a special bracelet, one of the few things I've left from my past life.
As I try harder to reach it, two strong arms come from nowhere and grab me from the back and pulls me away from the sealing and we fall on the ground.
Before I could even scream the person start talking.

JK-" What do you think you're doing? You can't jump from there, it's dangerous."

Y/N- "What?"

JK-" I saw you from my widow, I'm glad I made it on time. Are you alright?"

Y/N-" What? I wasn't going to jump, I was just... wait, who are you? And how did you get in my house?"

Before he could reply two more guys enter my house breathing heavily.

J-Hope-" JK, is she alright?"

JK-" Yes, she's fine."

V-"phew, that was close."

Wait, who are these people, why are they in my house, this time, breathing heavily, some without their shoes on, what is going on?

Y/N-" wait, who are you?"

V-" Hi, I'm Taehyung, but you can call me V."

J-Hope-" I'm J-Hope, and that's Jungkook."

Y/N-" No, what are you doing in my house, you also thought I was going to jump?"

JK-"You were not?"

Y/N-"No, I wasn't, my bracelet fell off my wrist, I was trying to grab it."

The three of them look at each other with a little of embarrassment, but I totally understand, maybe I shouldn't have tried to grab the bracelet in this condition, anyone else could have thought the same.

Y/N-" Oh, it's alright. I understand, you guys were worried, and ran here to save me, I should apologise for worrying you, and be thankful for trying to save me."

Jungkook stands up, and lean his hand to me and help me standing up too. Because of the wine, I trip over nothing and loose my balance but he holds me and help me get stable. In that moment our eyes met and I realised how handsome he was.

Jungkook POV

Luckily we got there on time, but apparently she wasn't trying to jump, but trying to grab a bracelet that got stuck in the sealing.
I help her up, and grab the bracelet from the sealing.

Y/N-" Thank you again, and I'm sorry I scared you."

JK-" It's alright, we're glad we were wrong."

As we talk I see her gazing at my face, and she suddenly comes closer placing her hands on my face, arms, and then she kneels down and check my legs. As she rises she grab me by my arm and start moving to the living area, telling me to sit on the couch. As I sit she checks V and J-Hope, also telling them to sit next to me.

J-Hope-" What's going on?"

JK-" I don't know."

V-"Maybe she's still drunk."

As we wonder what was going on, she comes back with a little box in her hands. She sits on the little table in front of us, and start taking some first aid's material. She kneels in front of me and start cleaning the wound I didn't realise I had on my face.

JK-" ouch."

Y/N-" I'm sorry, this is the least I can do to thank you, please stay still I'll be fast"

V-"Check his feet too, he ran here without shoes"

JK-" Oh! No, don't bother"

Y/N-" It's alright. Let me see."

I watch her gently taking care of my wounds, and as she finish, she check on the others.

Y/N-" Do you guys live around here?"

V-"Yeah, Jungkook does, we were just visiting him."

Y/N-" So, you saw me from your window?"

JK-"Yes, it happens that we were sitting next to the windows and we saw you."

Y/N- "Oh, I bet the other neighbour doesn't give you this much entertainment right?"

JK-" I barely talk to them, this is the longest I've talked to a neighbour, and the first time I'm in their house"

Y/N-" wow, but I guess it's not everyone who tries to grab a bracelet from the sealing, in the middle of the night and drunk. I'm sorry"

J-Hope-" Don't worry, we're glad that was the reason you were up there"

She smiles at J-Hope and stands up with the first aid box, walking back to were she grabbed it.
When she returns we say our goodbyes and we return to my house.

J-Hope-" Do you think she'll be alright?"

JK-"I think she will"

V-"she's just a bit drunk, maybe checking her tomorrow".

JK-"I'll do so"

For the rest of the night we just watched more movies and drank a bit more.
