You would think that we would play games like splat, to enhance and increase our reflexes or play hide and seek to boost and make additions to our senses. But no, we don't get easy fun games like that, no we don't get breaks whenever we get overpowered and beaten to a pulp. We train until we are so close to death and still continue until unconscious. That's the life of a Phantom. A life where nothing and no one stops you from hunting, targeting and killing your objective, we are raised to do this, hunt the demons and have nothing to hold us back. All the pain and emotions are swept out of us after the age of five. At the age of five we have to start training the hard way, since the age of three we train gently, smoothly, mildly taking small punches on a punching bag full of bricks. At the age of five, knuckles break, bones snap, people and kids die, limbs torn off and yet they never back away from a good fight.

We fight demons. From big to small, rouge ones to farmilliars, animals, souls, devils. We eradicate them to keep the rest of Galantia safe. The King and Queen don't know much about us either. They have The Wolves, these people are a bit like us but they're shifters, not humans. They are wolf shifters and they sort of act and stay in a pack. Their leader is Alpha and the Alpha has a son to take over after him and a daughter to stay by his side or take over in case something happens. We don't know anything more. They're that good. But they protect the people from demons too but work for the crown but they have their own organisation like us. The Leader and The Alpha sometimes use to talk to each other on terms of a 'situation'. The rest of the time they hated each other. That's just how we were brought up and to be honest I probably don't want to meet them.

When I was born everyone in the Phantom loved me and still do. The leader came to my mother the day I was born to see if I would be the one he would take under his wing if something happened to my mother. He also told her I would be next for Leader.
He became my mentor and trained me separate from all the other kids, got me my own room away from the other kids my age so I never got to see them. He always said "They will distract you Tasha. Don't let them." I didn't mind at all.
When I was seven, my mother got ill and died. My dad abandoned us when I was three so I always thought of my mentor as a father figure to me.
