I couldn't help but notice how much nicer Malfoy has been to me.

In a matter of several weeks, we weren't as nasty to each other. Prior to certain events, we were always at each other's throats, spitting insult after insult.

After Malfoy and I spent some time with each other if you catch my drift, he began warming up to me a little, and I could tell his coldness towards me was mainly because of some deeply hidden feelings he had for me that now he started to show. I didn't mind this at all, it's actually pretty nice he's being a lot sweeter with me, but I kinda miss arguing with him.

I was sitting at a small table inside the Slytherin Common Room, quill in hand, finishing up homework for Charms. My eyes darted back and forth to the textbook beside me and the piece of parchment in front of me, copying down the information required. I was just about done when I felt the presence of someone standing in front of me, watching.

I wonder who it could be...

I paused, setting my quill down and looked up to see none other than Malfoy, standing in front of me. His lips were curled in a small grin. His blue-gray eyes stared at mine, his short, platinum blond hair shined bright in the light. I couldn't help but smile back at him. God, he's so damn pretty.

"Working hard, darling?"

His grin grew wider, almost forming a smirk. "Yeah, I have to finish this assignment for Charms and then I gotta study for the exam in Potions.." I replied, my smile slowly fading when I mentioned the exam. I hadn't had a lot of time preparing for this exam because I was finishing up homework for Charms and Transfiguration. I had just gotten caught up with Transfiguration and was now finishing up work for Charms. The Potions exam was in a few days, and I barely studied for it. Go-fucking-figure.

"Exam? I can help you." Malfoy offered, still smiling at me. This wasn't the first time he had helped me study, he's helped loads of times, mostly with Potions as I wasn't as good in that specific subject as he was. Though this time when he offered to help, his tone was different. I didn't pay much attention to it, all I really wanted was to study for this damn exam.

"Alright.. let me finish this up and then we can go study." I replied. Malfoy nodded and sat at the nearest chair, waiting for me.

My Charms homework had been completed. I stood up and walked over to Malfoy. He closed the book he was reading and set it down. He looked up at me with a smile, his blue-grey eyes staring deeply into mine. "All done?" He asked. I nodded. Malfoy held out his hand towards me, his hand covered in silver rings. I always admired his rings, they always looked so beautiful on his large, pale hands. I took his hand, his rings felt cold on my hand. Malfoy stood up and intertwined his fingers with mine.

"Where are we going?" I asked. He smirked devilishly and pulled me upstairs to his dormitory. Surprisingly, there was nobody else there. Not to mention the Common Room was equally empty, everyone else left to either study in the library or cause trouble.

Malfoy pulled out his wand and muttered a spell, one I now recognized as the muffling spell.

Suddenly, it clicked to me.

"Draco...you didn't bring me up here to study, didn't you?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. Malfoy turned his head to face me, that bloody smirk still glued to his face. "Caught on, haven't you?" He drawled. "I know how much you struggle with Potions and I'm sure you're dreading this upcoming exam." Malfoy pulled me close to him, our noses barely touching. "Allow me to relieve you of this stress you're feeling, love." My face immediately reddened as I quickly understood what he meant. This wasn't what I was planning to do, but a little stress relief couldn't hurt.
