╰➣ y/n lookes at the box in her lap, she was sitting on her hammock, her hands running through the edges of the box.
Mrs. S had given her an unknown box that hasn't been touched for what looked like years.
Y/ns ears pinned to the sides of her head, unsure if she should open it or not. Maybe see should, Mrs. S gave it to her, she should trust her, even though she left unknowingly without telling her and was here the whole time!
As she was about to open it, the room bursts open, scaring her as she fell back on her hammock, falling on her back, the box falling on her stomach not too long after.
" hey y/n, Kiri is-" norm looked at y/n laying on the floor, who was groaning in pain through her muzzle with a box on her stomach, " here.... Damn, did I scare you? "
He asked, watching her lean on her elbows, curly hair covering the rest of her face.
Y/n waves her hand, meaning she was alright, rubbing her head.
Norm apologies as rubs the back of his neck, " well, Kiri is here to see you" he explains, helping y/n off the floor. Y/n eyes shines, Kiri is here!
Y/n walks past norm, not for getting to grab the box on her way out.
" don't stay out for too long! " he called out, y/n humming in response, disappearing around the corner.

Y/n was Intrupted by a hug from behind her, y/n knew those hands anywhere, Kiri.
" what's that you got? " she asked, chin on her shoulder, looking at the box curiously.
Y/n shruggs, ⪻ Mrs. S gave it to me ⪼
Kiri removed herself from behind her, " Mrs. S, you mean the one the that used to teach you? She's Alive? " she asked, hands on her hips with furrowed eyebrows.
Y/n nodded, ⪻ she gave me this box, idk what's in it ⪼.
" let's talk about this outside " Kiri grabs y/ns hand, leaving the lab.

Y/n and Kiri sit next to each other looking inside the box.
" maybe it a dead animal? " Kiri suggests, elbowing y/n softly.
Y/n looked at her with a Deadpan look.
" I'm playing " she smiles, leaning on y/ns shoulders.
Y/n hesitates, her hands hovering over the lid.
She takes a deep breath before opening the lid, looking inside, oh, It wasn't a dead body.
" you thought it was dead body? " Kiri smirked, leaning on her hands. Y/n narrowed her eye at her, pushing her away with her hands, making Kiri laugh.
Y/n digs in the box, pulling out a knife. It was a light pink with blue fading at the tips, what look's to be a sea shell at the ends.
Y/n looked more closely, seeing a named carved into it, but she couldn't make it out because it was faded out.
" I found a song cord" Kirk spoke out, holding something in between her fingers. " wait more like two.... " she trails off, y/n did hear her as she continues to look at the knife, zoned out.

Later on, y/n was in her room again, twirling a pink gun on her printer finger, swinging around in her hammock, sh found lots of interesting things in that box, she couldn't tell why Mrs. S wanted her to open it.
Maybe it was important to her? But why would she give it to y/n if it was important to her, who knows.
Maybe she'll find out more next time.
