These time periods involve very heavy societal issues.

If you're writing a story set in the 1800s there are several things to keep in mind to create an authentic and engaging narrative.

Firstly, research is key. Make sure you have a good understanding of the historical context of your story, including the political climate, social norms, and technological advancements of the time.

Secondly, pay attention to language and dialogue. People spoke differently in the 1800s than they do today, so try to incorporate period-appropriate vocabulary and phrasing into your characters' speech.

Thirdly, consider the setting carefully. Whether you're writing about life on a rural farm or in bustling city streets, make sure you accurately represent the sights, sounds, and smells of the time period.

Note that the 1800s were marked by issues such as slavery, women's rights, and industrialization.

The 50s was a time when the country was coming out of the Second World War and entering into a period of prosperity. You need to understand the social and cultural context of the time. This means reading up on everything from politics and economics to fashion and entertainment.

The 90s was a decade of change and cultural evolution, making it a great setting for any story.

Research the time period thoroughly to make sure your references are accurate. Use pop culture references from the 90s to enhance authenticity. Consider the political and social climate of the time when crafting your characters' experiences and perspectives. Incorporate technology that was relevant during the 90s, such as landline phones and VHS tapes. Pay attention to fashion trends and incorporate them into your descriptions of characters and settings.

Oh & not everything has to be historically accurate, in my case if I have a book set in the 1800s or the 1900s to the 70s, I will not make it historically accurate because I don't want my characters to suffer especially most of my mc's are always black or poc.
