***Louis' POV***
I woke up to my parents shouting and screaming at each other, I flinched as I heard something fly across the lounge room and smash into the wall. I heard footsteps heading towards my door and pulled the covers closer under my chin, staring at the door. It flew open and my dad storms in and yanks the blanket off me. "Get up you little shit!!" He yells, his voice slurred. I cowered in the corner as he shoved his face inches in front of mine, he's breath smelt strongly of alcohol.
He straightens up and storms out. I sit up shakily, how he is that drunk at 6:30 in the morning confuses me. Even though I am almost 18 I am still extremely scared of my dad, he has always been an alcoholic and has abused me since I was little. My mum isn't as bad but is still usually drunk and abusive as well.
I swing my legs around the side of my bed and run my hand through my hair which was getting pretty long. I slowly get up and head to the bathroom. After I'm done I flush the toilet and wash my hands. I splash some water on my face in an attempt to wake up.
Suddenly the front door slams, probably dad going to the pub to get even more smashed. I sigh and shuffle out into the kitchen, mum was passed out with her head on the kitchen table and an empty beer bottle in her hand. I take the beer bottle and put it in the bin. There was mess everywhere. I clear a space on the bench and get out the bread. I put some in the toaster and then make myself a sandwich.
After I finish I go into my room and grab some black track suit pants and a t-shirt. I brush my hair and straighten it. I grab my bag and walk past my mother, still passed out. I kiss her on the head and mutter, "See you mum". I walk towards the door and think sadly, another day of being pushed around in hell.

My second chapter guys, what do you think? I know it's pretty short but I'm really tired and can't think straight :) I know it's sad, Louis gets abused :( but it gets better i promise!! xx
