2148, Giad federacy, Zimmermann residence,  8:30

The next day when Lydia woke up, she decided to help Teresa make breakfast. She wanted to properly welcome the 86 and make a copious breakfast. Or maybe the reason she made so much food is because she didn't know what they would like. Lydia could imagine what kind of food they got as 86 in the military. Terese went to the toilet.

As she was making the batter to the pancakes Raiden came in the kitchen. He leaned on the door jamb and smiled at Lydia cooking. She made a bit of mess. As she wanted to get the cocoa powder, she couldn't reach it.
"Who the hell put it up so high up their. They think that giants cook here or what?"- murmured Lydia.
Raiden chuckled. He walked behind Lydia and reached up for the cocoa powder. It was a childs play for him.
Lydia however was suprised. She didn't hear Raiden coming in.
"Here"- he gave the powder to Lydia. She was speechles.
When did he came in here? And how the heck is he so tall?
"Thanks"

"Do you need help with anything? I'm an okay cook. Not Shin tho. Never let him in the kitchen."
Lydia chuckled.
"Same with Ernst. You don't have to help with anything tho. But if you really want you can."
They moved with dinamic in the kitchen. When Teresa walked back from the toilet she was amazed. She smiled to herself and let them do their thing.
When all of the 86 woke up and they went to the kitchen, all they saw was a bunch of food and Raiden and Lydia laughing.

They sat down to eat breakfast. There was no sound to be heard. They were all stuffing their faces with delicious food.
"How did you do these pancakes? They taste somehow unique. You have to teach me how to make them." - said Anju.
"I'm glad you like them. It's really not difficult, just a little trick. I can show it to you anytime"- answered Lydia.

Ernst cleared his throat. The 86 and Lydia looked at him.
"Today, I would like to talk to you about your futures. It's important to decide what you want to do."
The 86 saddened. "The future?"- they all thought.
Before they never thought about the future. All that was before their eyes, is to survive the day. They could've die anytime. What future was there to think about.

The 86 nodded their heads.
"Also, what would you like to do today? Lydia doesn't have school, so she could accompany you somewhere." continued Ernst.
"I think I'll go and draw somewhere. I saw lots of nice buildings."- said Theo.
"That's a good idea. You should show me when you're finished with it." Said Ernst.
"I saw some guys a few houses down the other day. They're some kind of transfer and fixing company, I might ask to join them" said Raiden.
Lydia looked up to that. Raiden did mention he likes those kind if stuff. She was happy, that he already found some options for possible jobs. She was shaken out of her thoughts when Ernst called out to her.
"Then you can go together. Lyds you can introduce Shin to Eugene."
"Where to go?"
"To the library? I just said"
"Right sorry, I zoned out. Sure, we can go together."
"Well then good. Everybody's settled for the day."

2149 Giad Federacy, 10:30

After breakfast everyone went on their own way. Lydia waited for Shin and they went to the library together. Frederica accompanied them too.
"I come back in a minute until then you can look around and choose a book."- said Lydia. She wanted to search for Eugene, to introduce him to Shin.
But as she looked around he was nowhere to be seen. Lydia leaned beside a shelf and took out her phone. She texted Eugene askind where he is.
