It was a dark and stormy night, and a group of friends were gathered around a campfire, telling scary stories to each other. They had been camping in the woods for a few days and were enjoying their time in nature.

As they were telling stories, they heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. They all turned to look, but they couldn't see anything in the darkness. They shrugged it off as just an animal and continued with their stories.

But then they heard it again, this time much closer. The group got quiet and listened carefully, but they could only hear the sound of the rain hitting the leaves of the trees.

Suddenly, a figure appeared in the distance, illuminated by a flash of lightning. It was a woman, pale and soaked to the bone. She was walking towards them, her hair plastered to her face, and she looked like she was in distress.

The group called out to her and asked if she needed any help, but she didn't respond. As she got closer, they could see that her eyes were completely white and her clothes were old-fashioned and torn.

The group started to feel uneasy and began to back away from the woman. But she kept coming closer, her arms outstretched as if she was reaching for them.

Just as she was about to reach them, another flash of lightning lit up the area, and the woman disappeared. The group looked around, but there was no sign of her.

They quickly packed up their things and left the area, never speaking about the experience again. To this day, they still wonder if they encountered a ghost that night in the woods.
