Nora was a quiet and shy girl growing up, she didn't really hang around other girls her age, mostly because being the oldest child in the family, after her grandpa lost his job and their financial situation going really bad, she had to get a job at the age of 14 to help support her family. She never complained about it but in the process of her having to grow up too fast, she was never able to fully show her emotions, she hadn't cried in years nor had she laughed or even smiled, her parents, grandparents and little brother loved her dearly though and never forgot to tell her.
But they could never get her to smile. She was happy at times but just didn't know how to show it. Now, being 24 years old and still supporting her family, she couldn't move out. It didn't bother her that much, but it would still be nice to have her own house.
She didn't have a typical women's job like a waitress or a florist or a nurse or even a cashier. She worked at the local blacksmith shop. She loaded and unloaded the new shipments of metal and steel and whatever else the shop specialized in.
And from that, she had a couple of scars on her arms and hands. She got used to the work eventually and didn't get any cuts anymore, which her mother was very happy about.
Her mom didn't like that her daughter worked to begin with, let alone something she could get seriously hurt from. But Nora insisted, since the money was better than most female jobs. And she's been working there ever since.
"Hey Buckets," Nora said as she closed the wobbly door behind her. "Hey sweetie, how was work?" her mom asked her, giving her a quick hug. "Fine," she responded nonchalantly.
She went upstairs . Which was just one room that was separated by a big curtain to make two rooms. One for Charlie and one for herself. "Hey Nora." Charlie said, looking up from his home work. "Hey, kiddo," she replied, ruffling his hair.
They chatted for a while, and then their mother asked them to come to dinner. They chatted as they ate their cabbage soup, and tonight was a special night. Tonight, Mr and Mrs. Bucket had gone to town earlier that day to get Charlie his birthday gift.
They gave him the Wonka bar after all the dishes had been done, and everyone was sitting around chatting. Charlie was especially excited because Mr. Wonka had made 5 golden tickets, and Charlie was really hoping to get one.
Grampa Joe was also hoping for one. He has worked for Mr. Wonka once and really wanted to see the factory again. So when there was only chocolate in the purple foil, they weren't really happy.

(The next evening)
Nora was helping her mother with dinner when all of a sudden Charlie barged into the living room, shouting, "I got it, it's mine, I found the last golden ticket." She and her mom almost jumped out of their skin."What is going on?" Her mom questioned Charlie.
He explained what had happened and that a woman had said she'd give him 500$ for it. "Charlie, come here." Nora beckoned her brother. "Listen, there's only 5 golden tickets and that's all there's ever going to be, and they print more money every day, only a dummy would give it up for money, now your not a dummy are you?" She questioned him.
"No." He answered a little happier now. "Well, then comb your hair, brush your teeth, and get that mud off your pants." Grampa Joe excitedly said.
They decided that Grandpa Joe would go with Charlie since he wanted to see the factory again.
