Sirius: Often called "The North Star" or the "Dog Star", it is the brightest star in the sky. It is a binary star within the constellation Canis Major.

The sun had never shone brighter than that fated day.
Haechan had finished school and work and headed towards his home, his worn-out shoes kicking the tiny pebbles lying on the concrete. The sweltering heat caused sweat to drip down his temples, staining his uniform.
"Urgh... this day's already too much..."
Just his luck.
A dark, cold alley shielded from the sun.
Perfect! What could go wrong anyway? Sure, there had been an uptake in criminal activities lately, but its not like they'd be doing that shit in an alley on a barely populated street in a worn-down neighborhood... right?
Haechan stumbled into the alley, sliding down the brick wall onto the floor, panting in an attempt to grasp air within his lungs.
"Water..."
He ripped the water out of his bag, chugging down the entirety of it within a single second. The bottle fell to the ground with a clatter as he closed in on himself, curling into a ball for maximum heat retention.
6:35. I have... 5 minutes here.
With that reminder pushed elsewhere within his brain, he slowly drifted off to sleep, the world becoming silent around him, dreams of having a place in the sun overtaking his mind.

Haechan awoke to the indistinct chattering around him and a wet feeling lingering on his fingers. As he cracked open his eyes, he could smell the stench of iron lingering in the air.
He groaned and stared down at his red-stained hands and lifted himself off the ground via brick wall.
Wait.
Red-stained hands?
Haechan stared down in shock at the blood which was seeping into the now vacant spot where he had sat. As he stared in front, a body lay only a few meters from him, its face twisted into an expression of shock and fear, with a bullet hole square in the forehead.
He yelled in shock as he grabbed his now bloody bag and fled the alley, running to wherever his feet could take him.
Unfortunately... life had a different plan.
"Aah!"
His eyes soon met a strong chest, and then, a nice view of the cracked concrete underneath him.
"Is he the one?" A deep-toned voice (the chest?) sounded behind him
"No, he just saw the body." A lighter-pitched voice that sounded scarily like the shorter man from before replied.
"You said there wasn't anyone there?"
"Apparently he was sleeping, and we thought he was dead..."
"So, what do we do with him?"
Haechan squirmed underneath the man as he heard them mention him.
"Hey, kid, no hard feelings, okay?"
"Huh?"
That was the last thing he heard before something collided with the back of his head, and his consciousness floated away.

"Ngh..."
The clinking of chains and an uncomfortable feeling in his arms roused Haechan from his deep sleep. As he cracked open his eyes, he was met with a surprisingly well-lit room, with a table and a chair across from him.
"You're awake."
A warm hand rested on his shoulder, as another man took the seat in front of him. He had a chiseled jawline, midnight black hair, and a friendly yet intimidating aura.
Meanwhile the man right next to him... was just plain scary. With a jawline gifted by the gods, cherry red hair, straight eyebrows, and a small scar near his eyes— Haechan figuratively shook his head. He's going too much on a tangent. First off — why the fuck is he here in the first place? Oh wait, he kinda witnessed a guy getting shot square in the head.
"Do you know why you're here?" The deep-toned voice asked— he was probably the one who knocked Haechan out.
"I kinda witnessed someone getting shot that I probably shouldn't have, and now you're gonna shut me up or do something else, right?" He smiled in reply, his annoyance slowly growing.
The hand on his shoulder then proceeded to execute a death grip and whispered into his ear:
"With that attitude, we might as well just kill you here right now. Watch it."
"Okay, okay just— fuck! It hurts! I'll stop with it, Jesus!"
The man, presumably satisfied, let go of his shoulder, the searing pain still lingering from where he had squeezed it. Haechan glared at the man before shifting his gaze to the one in front of him.
"Mm. So you understand then... what we're going to do to you, Lee Donghyuck?"
"Haechan." He frowned at the man. Donghyuck was a name he never wanted to hear ever again.
"Okay, Haechan... or should I say... full sun?"
"Fuck."
The man in front of him just chuckled, as Haechan's brain began going into overdrive. How the hell did they find out? There shouldn't be anything on his phone— he left his rooted one at home, and he uses a Samsung from like 2015— again, nothing suspicious. There was only one way to find out, and that was by asking.
"...How? How did you know?"
The man in front of him let out a low laugh, as he motioned for the man behind Haechan to grab something (?). After a few minutes, when the man returned, passing the other guy an IPhone 13.
"This is how. You're a hacker at the age of 16 and don't have a notion of internet privacy? We might have to teach you some things."
Haechan's eyes widened as the man held up a photo of his tattoo, the one he had sent to Hoennkkul just yesterday.
"Y-You are..."
"Not me, someone else"
"Now, why don't we introduce ourselves, hm? I'm Suh Johnny, one of the vice-leaders here. The man behind you is Lee Taeyong, our leader."
"...I'm Lee Haechan, born in... 2006, 16 years old. I think you know what I do by now."
