i got woken up by jumping on my bed.

??? - "mummy wake up! mummy!"

"ares go back to bed"

ares - "but mummy auntie lottie is here and uncle alex and uncle tommy are still sleeping"

"alright i'll be there in a minute"

he runs out, i presume to see char. i get out of bed and put my silk robe on. i brushed my hair and put it in a low ponytail.

after i found out i was pregnant i kept the baby. i played for a few more weeks before taking a break to have ares. i named him after the greek god of war. purely because i was at war with myself when i found out i was pregnant.

i never told charles about ares. i wanted to but when i phoned him to ask if we could meet up and that it was important. he just said that he can't and he has a girlfriend now.

so it's always been me and ares. all my friends helped of course. i still play for bristol city and england.

after ares was born we realised the apartment wasn't big enough so me and ares were gonna move into our own apartment. but then alex and tommy surprised us by buying a house for us all.

chad and arthur broke up after awhile since he was too busy racing and she was too busy with football.

i went into the lounge to find char and ares.

char - "ahh hi sarah, how are you"

"i'm great and you?"

char - "yeah i'm good. you know he looks just like his dad"

"yeah i know"

ares was just playing with his toy cars. ares loved f1 but i never told him who his father was.

ares - "mamma can i get some breakfast please"

"of course darling come on"

i take his hand as we head into the kitchen.

"what do you want?"

ares - "hmmm toast"

"alright, char do you want anything"

char - "can you just make me a coffee please"

"of course"

i start making toast and two coffees for us all.

ares - "auntie lottie"

char - "yeah midget"

she always called him midget. it was just her thing.

ares - "mamma said we can go to a race soon"

char - "really sarah?"

"that's not what i said ares"

ares - "yes it is"

charlotte is just looking at me with a shocked face.

"i said if you behave really well i will think about taking you to a race when my season finishes"

ares - "same thing"

alex - "good morning everyone"

ares - "uncle alex"

he runs into his arms and hugs him.

char - "hey alex could me and sarah have a minute"

she motions towards ares who was still in his arms
