It was 4:00 am-friday 24-08

At the beginning of my day I thought it would be a normal friday, but oh man what was I wrong.

I work from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

On Fridays I have my art class and on the weekends l spend time with my friends.

I woke up early today because l was going to a museum with my art class and I needed some time to get ready.

wait before we go further with the story I wanna tell you more about me.

Hi, I am Lou, I'm 17 years old and I work at a bakery.

I'm autistic but that won't stop me from doing the things I love the most.

I enjoy making art, listening to music, walking in nature, spending time with my closest friends, and I really love my job.

I have one really close friend whose name is Ash. I've known him since high school.

It didn't really click from the beginning but now we are inseparable.

We talk every day or just send each other random memes and laugh for hours at the jokes we make.He is 2 years older than me.

We are both really anxious and shy but once we feel comfortable we are really loud.

Well that's enough for now back to the story I was telling.

We would leave from the art building at exactly 6 o'clock so that means I had 2 hours to get ready and get there before the bus leaves.

In these 2 hours I had time to shower, eat breakfast and make my lunch and pack my bag.

I made a planning the day before so I knew what to do and how much time I had for the things I had to do to get ready for the day:

9:00 pm: go to bed

4:00 am: wake up and get out of bed.

4:05 am: take a shower.

4:15 am: put some clothes on.

4:20 am: listen to some music and take a look at the museum website.

4:40 am: chat with my art buds to make sure everything is okay and planned and nothing has changed from the planning.

4:50 am: eat breakfast and make lunch.

5:15 am: pack my backpack and make sure I have everything. Headset, gum, lunch,

water bottle, power bank, juice, sensory toys, snack, wallet, phone, comfort sweater.

5:40 am: put my shoes on and get on my bike.(it takes me 15 minutes to get to the art building so if everything goes as planned I will be there on time).

It's now 6 o'clock and I'm just on time to put my bike away and get on the bus.

Ash is already there, waving at me to get my attention. He is seated at the back of the bus, not the best place to sit because of how the bus moves but it is the best place to sit for Ash and me because everyone sits in front of us and that gives us a calm feeling, just so you can see what everyone is doing instead of people sitting behind you doing god knows what.

There are 20 people on the bus. We only miss the art teacher and his husband.

It's normal for them to be late but it's really annoying for people with autism to wait when you have a schedule to follow. If things change in that schedule we don't know what to do and we most of the time just stop working. But today is my lucky day because just seconds after 6:02 am they arrive with their funny blue car.
