A week later Nat brought me to school. Since the seat next to Peter was taken, I sat down next to a guy named Brad. He was nice to me and we soon started a relationship. I had to end it after a month because he started to control every aspect of my life. I wasn't allowed to meet up with friends, wasn't allowed to talk to boys and he read all my messages. Eventually, I had enough.
Because of that, he started to bully me in school.
We had P.E. and our coach showed us a video of Steve. I couldn't take him seriously.
„What are you giggling about?" Liz, a girl from my class asked.
„Steve just looks ridiculous in that outfit. And the fitness test isn't even that hard."
„How would you know? We didn't even start yet."
„I know, but we did the same test yesterday at home."
„Yeah, sure", she said sarcastically.
„You know what, believe what you want. I really don't care", I said to her. And then turned to MJ „Wanna be partners?" I asked her.
„Sure."
We did the fitness test and Ned told Liz, that Peter knew Spider-man.
After school, MJ and I waited for Nat to pick me up and just talked. When she arrived MJ whispered to me:" Your mum is Black Widow?"
„Adoptive mum, but she's all right."
„Thank you for that."
„Sorry." I shrugged my shoulders.
„Let's get home."
„Bye MJ."
„Bye."
