No One's POV:
Eddie happily went back to his post office to read the letter Frank gave him. Once he was inside he sat down at a desk that was trashed with letters and art.
Eddie's POV:
I slowly opened the letter from Frank, making sure not to rip it. Once it was open, my eyes immediately started gliding across the paper as I read. I was shocked that they didn't say no to my offer! Well..it's a yes and no. But that's fine! I jumped up from my seat and spun around as I hugged the sheet of paper. "They want me to hang out with them!" I said happily to myself. I was so excited I wasn't paying attention to the box on the ground. I tripped and made an odd grunt once I hit the ground. I let out a long groan. I had forgotten that box even existed. I got myself back up and put the letter in a drawer I had for my special letters.
I picked up the box and sat it on my desk then fixed my hat. I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that Frank wanted to talk to me. They aren't a very talkative person so it's kinda shocking. It's a bummer that they don't talk a lot because they seem like a fun person! Frank probably has amazing humor. Maybe I can help them make more friends.
Howdy's POV:
I was handing Frank, the grumpiest and least talkative neighbor here in the neighborhood, when I noticed they were smiling. "You seem pretty happy today! What's goin' on, Frankly?" I asked with a smile. Frank looked up at me, "Nothing. Is something wrong with me being happy?" They said rudely. "No no! I was just asking because yknow..you're rarely happy. I was just curious, my apologies." I said. They sighed. "It's fine. Someone just brightened my day a little." They replied.
