There is one thing you don't know yet about this story. How Emi's parents died. Tara knew since the beginning. Tara's mother had told Tara not to tell Emi, she won't be able to happen. Emi's parents were murdered by the animatronics. Tara only knew that they died in an abandoned restaurant because someone murdered them. But over the years, the little detail about the animatronics was forgotten. After Emi's parents' death, people planted trees in that area so no one would be able to find the restaurant and hopefully, no one would ever go into the forest.
After 7 years, the animatronics decided to return. Who knows what they're planning next? Well, we'll find out in the second book. (Also, the second book is in the process)
