Chapter 1

So this is my first fanfic. Please give me your honest opinions. Let me know if you want any SM-- u know what im talking about. I think you guys know the thing already right. POV's, dialog. u got it. So please enjoy. Also call the grammar police if there is any mistakes.

Eren's POV:

Who would've thought that getting a job is so hard. I mean I knew it wasn't going to be easy but this is crazy. I had 4 interviews today and none of them went well. Yesterday I had 2 and they also didn't go well. I really need this job if I want that car. I don't understand why my dad can't just lend me the money. I mean he's rich. My dad's a doctor, one of the best there is and he won't buy me a car. He says it will teach me "Responsibility" or whatever. I already am responsible, I fed Mikasa's cat last week. That seems pretty grown up to me. I guess he's right. I'm going to be 18 soon. I need to get it together but still the car should be my birthday present. Ughh. Whatever It's already getting dark I should head back home instead of moping around in the park. I got on my bike and started to pedal away.

I got home and went through the side gate to put my bike in the shed. When I walked in through the back door my Mom ran towards me and gave me a hug.

"How did the meeting go?" she asked. I hugged her back then looked down.

"I didn't get any of the jobs". I let go of our hug and went into the kitchen.

"Oh Eren, I'm sorry... hey me and Mikasa are going to watch a movie tonight, you wanna join" When she said that, I saw Mikasa run down the stairs.

"Ehh.... im ok guys I was actually gonna go to Armin's tonight". When I said that my mom gave a little nod and Mikasa looked at me from the staircase with her arms crossed. She rolled her eyes then went back up stairs. I opened the fridge and grabbed a cheese stick. Then I went upstairs. Once I went up the stairs and made my way to turn the corner to go to my room. I got whacked in the face with a pillow. I stumbled back and saw Mikasa.

"ow ... Mik what the heck". I pushed her aside to get to my room and she followed. I sat on my bed and she came in and closed the door.

"Eren get it together," She told me.

"I know gosh... Can I sue for that". She smiled at me and threw the pillow at me. I just smiled back and caught the pillow.

"Have fun at Armin's and umm tell him I said hi"

"Alright" I said and she walked out and closed the door. I got up and went to my closet. I grabbed a jacket then went to my dresser to get some sweats and a shirt. I looked in the mirror and I think I look alright. Gray sweats, white shirt, black jacket, long white Nike socks and my black old school vans. Alright I'm out. I ran downstairs and waved at Mikasa and my mom before I left.

"Eren be careful" I heard my mom say.

"I will" I said back before I closed the door. I felt like walking so I didn't get my bike. I got my phone out of my pocket and texted Armin I was on my way. When I reached the end of my street I saw a guy across the street passing out flyers. I looked both ways before I crossed the street. He saw me approaching him and he extended his arm out to give me a flier.

"Here, take one, come check us out sometime". I took the flier from the short man with jet black hair with beautiful blue and silver eyes.

"Umm...thanks" I looked down at the flier. It showed a new Coffee shop.

"Oh wow this looks great. Hey is there any chance you guys are hiring?" I asked the guy.

"Uhh yeah flip it over genius". He motioned with his finger for me to flip it.

I turned it around and there was the information on how to apply.

"Oh thanks" I said, then he rolled his eyes and walked away. I folded the paper and put it in my pocket. Then I continued on my way to Armins. When I got there I rang the doorbell about 100 times, just to make sure he heard it. Then the door swung open.

"Eren, hey come in. Jean and Connie are up stairs". I walked in and saw Jean run down the stairs.

"Hey did Mikasa come with you?" He asked.

"No," I said. He rolled his eyes and ran back upstairs.

"Mikasa said hi by the way" I said to Armin before I went upstairs to join the guys. When I walked in I was greeted by Connie saying

"What up... Hey dude what the fuck". He looked me up and down then looked at himself. We were wearing the same thing well besides the vans and jacket.

"Dude you totally copied me" I said as I flicked his head with my finger.

"Awww you guys look so cute" Jean said while making a heart with his fingers.

"Shut up!" Me and Connie said at the same time. Then Armin walked in with two big bowls of popcorn.

"Alright I got the popcorn did you all pick a mo- hey was this planned or a coincidence" He said as he looked at both me and Connie up and down. He was talking about our clothes.

"It's a couple things," Jean said with a stupid grin. Then Connie jumped on him and they started wrestling. It's a couple things I thought to myself as I watched them fight.

"Thanks" I said to Armin.
"No problem". He said as he handed me the popcorn bowl. After me and Armin watched Connie and Jean fight for a little bit they both gave up.

"So what are we watching?" Jean said, looking tired as shit.
