Chapter: 12

I woke up with Mikasa tapping my sholder.

"hey get up" She said gentley.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned as I sat up.

"Already?" I asked feeling oh so tired.

"Yea breakfast is downstairs" She said before exiting my room.

Nice. I got up and did my morning routine. After I was done I went downstairs to see Mikasa my dad and mom all sitting down at the table. Oh my moms up.

"good morning fam weres my plate?" I asked in a cheery voice only to be met with disgusted eyes from my dad.

Grisha my dad turned to face me in his seat and stared at me in pure disgust while Mikasa put her head down. My mom's eyes began to tear up and she turned away for me. What's happening?

"Ok. I'll grab my own plate the" I said thinking thats what they were mad at.

"Eren sit" My dad said while pointing to the seat across him. I walked confused to the seat and sat down next to Mikasa. As soon as I sat down my sister scooched away from me.

"what's going on?" I asked. "Did I not set the alarm last night beacuse look I was very t-"

"Shut up" My dad hissed. His look sent shivers down my spine and I felt the need to sit up straight.

"you faggot" My dad said with mean eyes.

At that momment I felt a punch to the gut. The world fell apart. My heart shattered into a million pieces. My life ruined. I panicked... I looked at Mikasa with shock. She told.

"Mik YOU TOLD! WAY TO KEEP A SECRET BIG MOUTH!" I yelled. Then I felt a sharp sting to my cheek. I looked and saw my dad hovering over me . He slapped me...

'' I'm so disapointed in you Eren"  my mom said through teary eyes,

" me too Eren" My dad added.

"Your disgusting Eren" Mikasa said.

I shrank in my seat as they all leaned in repeating my name through gritted teeth.

"EREN! EREN ERE-"

"WHAT!" I yelled as my body sat upwards in a motion so fast that it made me light headed. Mikasa stood before me with wide eyes.

"Uhh wake up" She responded.

It was a dream.

I looked at her and rubbed my head. It was a fucking dream. I put my face in my hands in embarssement.

"You good yeager " she asked with a hint of humor in her voice.

"I'm fine" I nodded. actually not.

The morning went by fast and before I knew it I was at lunch break. Me and Armin were sitting on the bleachers waiting for the usual suspects.

"So what you gonna do when Annie shows up?" I asked with my legs spread out to relax. Armin chuckled as he wiped the hair out of his face.

"Maybe ask her out" He said with a shy smile. I rolled my eyes knowing he wouldn't.

"Sure" I said before looking up at the sky. My eyes seemed to glance at the sun on their own causing me to squint from the brightness.

"Don't look at it Eren" Armin said while I rubbed my eyes.

"I know I know" I waved him off. He laughed before sighing and looking straight on.
