There is one film that resonates with me
Out of all the movies I've seen.
The nostalgia within every scene.
Kat Stratford. Myself.
A pretty girl, but with priorities.
Like myself, she was off-the-shelf;
Love was the last thing I looked for.A boy came into my life.
Tall and almond-skinned.
I fell head over heels
But of course with time,
His inner-self reveals.I hate the way you spoke to me;
I hate how you weren't there.
I hate how much you lied;
I hate how we could've made a good pair.
I hate what you wore and
How you didn't care for yourself.
I hate how you were always negative;
But most of all I hate how sensitive you were.
I hate you so much, it makes me even rhyme.But mostly I hate the way
I don't hate you - not even close;
You were my friend and my first love.
But you weren't true love.
You were unworthy.
Like Kat, I found it in a man.
Unlike her, I didn't find it in the same one.
But after you I found my Midnight-Sun.
Oh yes, I won.
