As they made their way through the dark corridors, strange noises echoed around them. Footsteps creaked on the old wooden floors, and whispers seemed to emanate from the shadows. Suddenly, they heard a blood-curdling scream, and their hearts leapt into their throats. They rushed towards the sound, and as they turned a corner, they came face to face with a tall, pale figure.
It was a vampire, and its eyes glinted with a sinister red glow. The teenagers were frozen in terror as the creature approached them, fangs bared. But then, a strange thing happened. The vampire spoke to them.
"I mean you no harm," it said in a low, gravelly voice. "But you must leave this place at once. It is not safe here."
