I heard my door sliding open I wasn't facing the door so I couldn't see who it was but I knew it was my grandfather because of his presence
"Joel your mother and father would like to speak to you."

"Are they done with all the craziness?"
"Yes they actually are, let's go."
I got up from my bed and followed my grandfather to my mother and fathers business room. we walked in to the office to see my grandmother, mom, and dad sitting at the table along with Kuroto one of my fathers strongest warriors , but his job mostly consisted of following me around and nagging me. His parents were also pretty strong dragons and where my mother and fathers close friends

"Come have a seat sweaty."
My mom said
I walked over to the open chair next to her only to have Kuroto pull my my chair out for me.
"I can do that myself you know!" I said harshly under my breath
He only gave me a cocky grin and say back down next to me. My father was sitting at the head of the table.
"So your mother & I have decided to let you visit this campus she is so admit on you going to. I would like to chaperon myself on this visit but your mother also refuses to let me go so in my absence Kuroto will watch over you and see if this school is fit for someone with a bloodline as noble as ours."
"So how long will I be there?"
"You'll be there for two days that's the most I could convince your father of."
"Kuroto do you understand your duties?"
"Yes sir I do"

"Well please help Joel pack and the both of you are to report to me when done the sooner you leave the sooner Joel can be back home under my protection,"

"Dad! Your acting like someone's out to get me and even if there were I'm strong enough to protect myself!"
I said now getting really frustrated.
He gave me a glare which meant I had 5 seconds to apologize. For some reason he doesn't tolerate me saying I can protect myself , I think it hurts his pride

"Sorry!" I said harshly between clenched teeth while looking down
He stopped glaring and grinned
"Good now get to it."
I stood up and went to my room with Kuroto

"Why are you taking those shorts?! There way to short!"
he said grabbing them from my suitcase
"There for sleeping in you jerk! Now put them down! "
He just lowly said "Oh" and put them back down.

I closed my bag and sat on my bed laying back Kuroto grabbed it and was preparing to bring it to the front
"Kuroto wait."

"He placed the bag down infront my door and came stand infront me.
"What is it?"

"Ugh well you see I was wondering if you could try to be a little lenient while we're there. This is my first time to really see how things are outside of our clan and I want to see and learn as much as I can about the outside world."
"What makes you think I would prevent that?" He said innocently
"Come on be honest your just as bad as my dad , I can't even talk to some of the other clan members around my age without you beating someone up!"
"I don't recall." he said while crossing his arms over his muscular chest and turning his head from me
"Kuroto!"
"Alright I'll try."

"Okay well here's some rules.
No glaring, no threatening, and no picking fights!"
"Alright?"
He turned to me then walking closer to me before grabbing me by my chin
"I'll honestly try but remember what I told you when we where younger."
I blushed slightly as he moved his face closer to mine.

"You haven't forgotten have you?"
"How could I forget when your constantly reminding me!"
"Well just to refresh your memory
Your mine and I won't let anyone else have you."

he said while placing a kiss to my forehead then walking out with my bags. I fell back against my bed
"Why do I have to be engaged to such a hot head and yet so madly in love."
