Freckles X Reader AngstYou were added to the team of Lackadaisy 2 months ago with Ivy, Rocky, and Freckles. Yet, Freckle had developed A huge crush You; He'd started getting flustered around You, receiving gifts and letters, etc. Moreover, Freckle and You were sent out to retrieve An item, rum.
"Is this the place?" You ask, as Freckles ceased the engine. "I think so," Freckle stated. You were met by A large warehouse, No guards nor light. "Traps maybe?" You questioned, looking over to Him. "Probably.." He answered, unbuckling His seat belt.
Exiting the car, You held A revolver near Your side, as for Freckle's held A pistol. "Let's go," You spoke, gripping the weapon within Your hand. Marching forwards nearer to the Warehouse.
As the both of You were infront of the Warehouse, seeing that the entrance was locked. You try push it open, nevertheless no use. "Let's find another way inside," Freckle advised, grasping Your arm.
He pulled You to A nearby window, looking for something to smash the glass. You grab A heavy rock beside You, throwing the rock against it; smashing it.
Freckle gave You A lift as You climb upward to the window for the opposite side; offering Him A hand aswell.
Peering inside, You see shelves filled with crates and boxes; A few bottles nearby scattered near the floor.
Freckle ran over nearby A crate, unlocking it. Seeing bottles of Rum, "Holy molly, this place is all filled with rum." He cheered, grinning cheekily; His tail swaying side to side.
As Freckle was about to grab a bottle, A loud thump was heard from above. You looked around, tightening Your grip onto the revolver. Freckle widen His eyes, rising from the ground.
You squinted Your eyes, spotting A figure within the dark. Raising Your gun to it's figure, You shoot; the figure fled the seen, hiding once more.
You'd grab Freckles arm, dashing away from the spot.
Feeling intact; You let go of His arm, panting heavily. "What did you see?" Freckle asked, furrowing His brows.
"I saw something, or someone.." You uttered, regaining your breath. Freckle patted Your shoulder for reassurance."What do we do..?" You ask, the voice of Yours, shaky.
"We should-," Before Freckle could explain, the figure had gotten A shot; getting shot near Freckles ankle.
He bit the inside of His cheek, preventing Himself from screaming. Gritting His teeth in agony; He supported His figure near A shelf, "Save yourself..!" He murmured.
Widening You eyes, You shake You head. "What!? I'm not gonna leave You like this!" You stated, grabbing His shoulder. "Please.." He told, cupping Your cheek.
You felt tears building up in Your eyes; teary-eyed, You nod in response. Pulling away from His touch. You ran back to the smashed window, biting back the urge to cry.
As You ran, You felt A hand grab the back of Your collar; Your body gets pushed to the floor. You groaned in pain, peering at the figure above you.
Remembering from within a Month ago. You widen Your eyes once more, in shock. "You.." You spoke, frightened; attempting to back away from Him.
"Don't make this harder than this has to be.." Mordecai spoke, His tone firm and stern.
You look beside His figure to see Freckle's limping figure. Mordecai seized His neck, tightening His grip; the firm grip on His throat, closing His airway.
"Now pick A choice; Option one, flee and run. Option two, give Your life up for the pathetic boy."
Shaking in fear; contemplating on What choice to pick. You took A deep breath, Option two.." You answered, turning away from their figure.
Mordecai chuckled at Your response, dropping the boy out of His hands. Freckle gasped for air, rubbing His throat; trying to ease the pain.
Freckle glanced at You, A petrified look encountering His face. "Now shoo," Mordecai demanded; holding His gun above Your head.
Freckle stood up, running away from Mordecai; sobbing tears as He did so; Running from the seen, as He only heard A loud bang erupt from the Warehouse. A night filled with sorrow.

Note: Originally, this was supposed to be Freckles asking You out, or somethin' but, I don't know how to dates and romantic stuff. Yet, this feels oddly lazy.
