This is a MAJOR work in progress, I'm just kind of going along as I write this. Please leave comments and everything! Hope you enjoy this!
-----------------------------------------------I woke up from a 4 hour sleep to a blinding light from behind my curtains. I rubbed my dreary eyes as I heard someone knock on my door. "I'm indecent!" I yelled and got up to my mirror. I started brushing my long, brown hair out of its rat nest self.
"I'm still coming in." My mom then walked in with pancakes and a cup of milk. "I thought it would be a good idea for you to have breakfast in bed, how're you feeling?"
"Not good. I can't breathe through my nose at all," I sniffled.
"Well come outside later, it'll make you feel better!" she said, setting the plate of pancakes on my nightstand. I finished brushing my hair and blowing my nose and got into bed. It gets comfier each time I sit in it. "Nah, I'll stick to moping around eating pancakes," I laughed.
Mother shook her head with a smile and walked out. I set the pancakes aside and went to my window and saw my little brother playing kickball with his friends. I've always hated kickball. Playing it over and over in P.E seemed to make me numb for it I guess.
I looked over at the pancakes. It was like 9 in the morning but I didn't even feel like eating pancakes. I had a couple of bites and shot a quick text to my best friend, Sabrina asking if I missed anything in school. We had been best friends since kindergarten, and managed to stay friends all through seventh grade, and we were both now in eighth grade. Sabrina was the same height as me and had short dark brown hair. She has hazel eyes and a couple of freckles around her nose and cheeks.
It took awhile for her to respond so I climbed back into my bed, and finally gave into my eyes and went into a restless sleep. While I was sleeping I kept hearing these screams, and woke up several times throughout the day. When I went back to sleep I dreamt someone picked me up and threw me into another world, like pushing me through this black hole. I was straining and struggling not to go in but someone kept pushing me farther and farther.
I eventually fell through. The scary thing was that it all seemed too realistic, and I couldn't wake up. I was falling for what seemed like ever, until I landed and I woke up with a jolt.
