[Canon divergence au, fluff]

SummaryYou hate nothing more than living in the city as the lovely humble country bumpkin you are. It doesn't matter how countless people are in the bustling city, you're still nothing but lonely there. Things get worse when you're absolutely captivated by a beautiful man that you just met in the elevator, which, unfortunately, turns out to be your neighbour.
It's humiliating indeed. You know from the start that you're the only one in a state of limerence whenever you see him near your radar.
But one particular night changes every perspective you have about him.
Like they always say, expect the unexpected, because not every thought in your head will turn out to be right.

(Warning ⚠️: Lowkey and slightly suggestive in the second part if you're down bad but come on now, you're a sanzu simp, I'm not surprised ☠️☠️)
It's not going to be that bad.
That's what you thought after moving into Tokyo. As much as how you love being a country bumpkin, living that peaceful and minimalist life, there will be no choice for you to finally travel away from the countryside.
Loving something so much isn't enough.
Even a bird will finally fly out of its nest. Depends if the mom kicks it out of it and forces it to fly, even if they weren't confident enough in what they're doing.
That's exactly what you're doing now. Probably you can say your old and exhausted mom kicked you out of your home and is always convincing you to study properly and get good grades so that you can finally get out of this 'miserable village'.
But that was never the case.
You love where you're from and you will always say, you're proud, even if people will look down on your roots, deeming that you're from somewhere uneducated or uncivilised. The environment, your childhood friends and all the loving elderly there, home feels like home to you indeed, and you do feel belong.
And still, despite that, your mother does have a point. There's no future for you in your hometown. Cosmetic scientists don't have a place there. It's like the countryside is telling you that you don't belong there anymore.
Like it's shoving you to move to the city. It is all new for you, the city culture, I mean.
Even back when you're still studying, you got to enrol in a uni near your hometown, so it just felt as if you never moved that far and not to forget to mention how you go back home every weekend, so it doesn't feel like campus life that much.
