In this story all the monsters in Hawkins they don't exist, quite the opposite, it's just that the only issue in Hawkins was the fights between kids in high school.Oh and Will and Eleven aren't in California

One day you, Mike, Dustin and Max sat down at a table for lunch, waiting for lucas, eleven and will
suddenly you and max saw that jason started teasing will. And without thinking you started running towards them before max could stop you
"y/n wait!!!"Max yell
max started walking towards you while you started yelling and fighting with jason
"Let him go!!! What the fuck is wrong with you?!?!" You yell to Jason
"What are you going to do about it you little bitch?" Jason said with his hand on Will's neck
"This" you say before you start punching him
you and Jason started fighting with the whole school above you looking on, you didn't stop even when you were both covered in blood
"Y/n!!! Please stop!!!"Max and El yell
suddenly the school principal came and separated you and jason from the fight
"YOU TWO IN MY OFFICE!!!"he look at you both "NOW!!!"
"I'm sorry" you whisper to Max as long as she look worried at you
when you and jason went to the principal's office he started asking you about the reason for your fight
"Sir I told you before!!! He start bullying my best friend, what you should I do?!?! Of course I was going to protect my friend!!!" You say with a raised tone
"Mrs.Harrington first calm down because you are talking to you principal and second" he look at Jason " Jason what she's telling is true? Were you bullying William Byers?"he asked
"Of course I was bullying this little gay-"
"Omg I swear to god talk to him like that ever again and I will-" you say but the principal cut you off
"Okay okay calm down Harrington.. you can leave now,I'll arrange Jason" he said and he open his office door
When you leave the office you go straight to Max and the others. When Max saw you, she run to you and she hug you
"Yn! Are you okay?" she said putting her hands on your cheeks
"I'm fine I guess" you say looking deep in her eyes "whe- where's Will? Is he okay?"
"He's fine he's here, but... but look at ne please" you look at Max "are you sure you okay? If you're not we can leave and go to the hospital" she said
"No no I'm fine... wait did you just show me your worried side?" You ask with a little smile
"Of course I did" she said
"Max look... I know that now it's really not the perfect place and time to tell you but I... I like you... I really like you... I like you since you came in Hawkins... I know you probably don't feel the same and you of course don't have to but I thought-" you say but Max cut you off with a kiss
"I like you too"Max said smiling
"Wait really?!?" You say in a confusion
"Yep"
