Veldora Pov:

'Akaza said he was going to some place the infinity castle, like what the heck is that? Is there even such a thing as a castle that's infinite!? Unbelievable!I wonder how my best buddy Rimuru is doing.. ' Well, might as well explore this place. It is rather interesting, "but no one surpasses me the great Veldora!!"
The floor beneath me just vibrated.. I wonder why, well, that is very unusual.
As I was adventuring through the forest, I saw a cabin, I went inside, and there was a lot of blood.. hmmm, was it an attack by an ant, It would make sense since there are no bodies, so it might have eaten them. I went back out, and I saw something I didn't see before entering the house. Big lumps of soil? Also, another unusual thing in this place, well, I shall go out and explore more then!

Rimuru Pov:

"I think this is the place, Mount Fujikasane." I announced to Tanjiro. "Yes, and there are so many people here!" He exclaimed. 'Ciel, how many people do you predict to come out alive?' [Approximately five individuals, including you.] 'Hmmm.. alright, it's good to know that people will be alive.' And as I said that, two young girls spoke simultaneously. "Hello, this is the Final Selection, you will have to survive for a week behind the wisteria trees." It seemed like a simple task. "You may now proceed." As soon as they said that, I walked inside.

A demon came out of nowhere and attacked me, I caught it by its neck and started eating it, I lifted it up high and started eating its feet, and of course I didn't eat that part, all that was left was the head. "Hey! Why are you eating me!! I'm supposed to be eating you!" He shouted. "Well, I'm just showing you what it feels to be eaten." And as he said that, he seemed to finally notice that it was painful, then he started screaming in pain and agony. It was so annoying, so I just gulped his whole head. I then heard a crunch in my mouth. My bite force is really that strong. A crow saw all of that, so I jumped to it and erased its memory of what it just saw, it might be some kind of robot the demon slayer core built to watch over us, or maybe just a trained crow.

I then heard commotion, I headed over there, and I saw some big hand thingy mutated freaky crust dusty musty demon, and Tanjiro was fighting that thing, I then concealed my presence and jumped on a tree to see his fighting skills from above. He was saving someone, how cute, but then Tanjiro got knocked out by the demon, the person tanjiro saved tried to escape, but I went in front of him and said, "Stay here until he defeats that thing, or I will eat you." I said in an intimidating voice. He looked like he shit his pants, I then grabbed his neck and threw him to where Tanjiro was, as soon as the hand demon was about to grab Tanjiro and eat him, he regained consciousness and jumped to the side, the the battle between the mutated demon continued
The demon stretched its arm to tanjiro, but he jumped on to the hand sprinting over to the demon's head. While he did that, I went to deal with the dude who tried to escape

He looked frightened, then I knelt down to his level, he was shaking, and not to mention sweating a lot. "So, do you still plan on escaping? I asked. "N-n-no i-i w-will s-st-stay." He managed to stutter. I then looked him straight in the eye as they slowly turned blood red, Ciel wasn't even taking control, I guess I was that angry that he tried to leave Tanjiro to die. "Alright, then you are to stay here until he is done with the battle." As soon as I said that, I pointed my index finger and grew quite a long nail, and I pointed it to his forehead, and he started bleeding a little. "Or you will face the consequences." I said in the most intimidating voice I tried to build up. "H-h-h-hai.." He managed to stutter. I then took my finger back, and my nail shrinked. He looked so terrified, and it amused me because now he knew to never mess with me. I then licked off his blood and he shrieked in terror, I just smirked and vanished, Tanjiro didn't notice a thing but when I looked at the fight scene, I saw him holding the hand of the demon while it was turning to ashes, I just smile and I looked back down, the man tried to escape again.

??? Pov:

It was so terrifying, his aura, the malice, I just couldn't stay I then took out my handkerchief and wrapped it around my head, and I ran away, suddenly I was held by my neck, it was him, I knew that is was my death. 'I should have not tried to run..' I thought to myself, then I heard a crunch. The next thing I saw was darkness, but I also felt excruciating pain. Was I being eaten?..

Rimuru Pov:

I didn't say a word and just crushed his neck, he then fell to the ground, I saw another crow and I erased its memories , then it just flew away, I then dug a hole and I just ate him in there. [Notice, you only need to consume five more individuals, then you will succeed.] Ciel said. 'Thanks for the information, Ciel.' [Praise me more] She said. 'Ha, maybe later, Ciel.' Then I finished eating him, I then wiped off the blood with his handkerchief, and I jumped out of the hole and left.

The seven days are almost over, I ran into Tanjiro again, but I said we should split up for the time being, and he agreed. I ran into more demons, but this time, I just killed them with my sword.

The final selection was finally over, and there were five people, including me. "Where are our colour changing swords !?"
