Walking around the town centre to run some errands. But also to see the performer I've been watching for a few days in a row. He's always at a certain spot with his guitar, singing delightful tunes with his unique tone and mannerisms. The moment I first saw him I was mesmerized. He starts a song by announcing the title and a brief meaning of the lyrics, or who it's dedicated to.

He's very charming. I noticed he sometimes flashes a smile at me when I'm watching him perform, I blush whenever he does that but I can't bring myself to leave even out of embarrassment.

Today is one of those days where I get done with the errands I need to run as quickly as possible so I can watch that guy perform. I don't even know his name.

After announcing it's his last one, he starts playing a song, it's one I've heard from him time and time again before. My favorite, I know it by heart. He begins to sing

"Want her, have her
Two years have gone now but I-"*¹

And instinctively I start singing along

"-Can't relate to the neverending games that you play"

And he notices me. Somehow I'm singing loud enough for him to notice it. He smiles widely as he keeps on singing and slowly starts walking towards me with his guitar. I'm frozen in place but my mouth moves to the lyrics. I keep singing the song I've learned from him, and he didn't even try to teach it to me.

The small crowd moves, and the people I was once within are watching me and the handsome musician in front of me duet a song without even knowing each other's names.

"I hope you understand that your love
Is standing next to me, is standing next to me"

I stop singing to let him do the verse

"The one you fell for
Makes it seem juvenile"

Then with the chorus I start singing again, he leans closer to my face, and I lean closer to him as well. Before we know it our foreheads are pressed as we keep singing, my hands connected on my back and his professionally strumming the strings. We smile as we sing in harmony

"And you'll laugh at yourself, again and again
And we'll drink to the thought she'll remember you
Maybe tomorrow
And your love is standing next to me, is standing next to me"

We finish the song, and everyone applauds. Once I'm snapped back into reality I don't know what to do. I don't know how to act while everyone cheers for me and this guy.

He suddenly takes my hand and leans into my ear "bow with me now"

And without thinking I do as he says. We bow at the same time. He, being the natural performer he is, sends kisses to the crowd

"Thank you everyone! I'm here almost everyday, don't miss me so much."

He's so charming that I'm flustered even though those words were not directed to me. Once the crowd clear up he turns to me with a smile. His crooked teeth are completely in sight and I find it weirdly cute.

"Wow, man! I didn't know you'd learned my song. Your voice is one of a kind, I had so much fun singing with you. You were so breathtaking and magnetic and beautiful!" he enthusiastically says

I blush at his compliments raining on my face and smile "please, you did all the cool stuff. I barely hummed along"

"If that's your 'barely hummed along' I think I'd pass out if I heard you truly sing. Absolutely beautiful, angelic. It was perfect, you were perfect"

His kind words and excitement gets me excited as well. I smile widely "you're the one who mesmerized me with your songs in the first place"

"What's your name?" He asks
