The Cellar

I woke up to an an unusual, metallic smell and a cold floor. I opened my eyes to see that I was surrounded by black lace curtains. I had a huge headache & everything was blurry. I looked around for my glasses and found them by my head. When I put them on, I saw a TV with a rugged chair and a round coffee table. The TV was on the channel 5 news.

"The Morgue struck again as the 4th girl, Avery Newman, age 23, was found this morning by Alex Reed, age 36, her neighbor, in the woods by their houses. The NYPB have no leads at this time, but an autopsy is scheduled tomorrow for Ms. Newman."

I got up and ran to the rusty metal door. It wouldn't budge. I screamed and slammed into the wall, hoping someone was there. I got no response after 1 minute or so. Then I heard loud footsteps coming from outside. I went back into the bed, took off my glasses, and closed my eyes, pretending to sleep. I heard the large cellar door open and close. Then I heard more footsteps coming closer. I clenched my eyes tighter. The blanket I was covered with was pulled off me. "I know your awake Miss Aiko. Get up." I sighed, and got up, and put on my glasses.

"Who are you?" I asked,
hesitating. "Why should I tell you?" he said. "Well you did just sorta chase me through the woods, haunted my dreams, and passed me out using chloroform. I deserve an explanation! Who are you!?" He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "About that, sorry." "Well sorry won't cut it! Get me out of here you, you... monster!"
I screamed. "DON'T CALL ME A MONSTER!" he yelled and pushed me against the wall and held me up by my shirt. He looked at me mad expression, then it faded to a frightened frown. "Oh my God! I'm so sorry!" he put me down softly.

I ran to the cellar door and tried to open it. It opened and I ran. "Wait!" he yelled but I was already gone by then. I stopped in my tracks. As I saw that we were in the middle of the woods. "What the.." "Miss Aiko, come back!" he yelled. I turned around. He was coming closer. "Get away!" I backed up. As I backed up, fell over a large rock and hit my head. "Miss Aiko!" he said, picking me up bridal style. "Owww, let me go!" I wiggled in his arms. "Miss Aiko, please calm down." "Who are you? Please tell me." I said. "Ww..well. I don't think you wanna know. I'm.. I'm The Morgue." he hesitatedly said. I fainted.
