Elizabeth's POV
The bell rang so we stood and left. When I got out to the hallway, they were gone and I was lost. I didn't know anyone. So here I was all alone in the crowded hallway in this big ass school. I was so scared! I followed all the other kids and luckily they all went to the right place. I walked to the lunch line to pay for my lunch and got my food. I noticed a strangely familiar guy. Who though?
"Hey," he said. "You new here?"
"Yeah, I came from the states."
"Damn, a whole other continent. Welcome to Australia. Just to let you know, we all have mouth like sailors here as in swear in every single sentence."
"I noticed."
"You come alone?"
"No, my twin sister, Hannah is with me but we're on our own. Our parents shipped us here where there's no one we know."
"Why?"
"Hannah is a bad kid and I stuck up for her and never ratted her out so we are both bad."
He laughed.
"What's so funny?"
"You've been talking to me like I know Hannah and at the same time, I don't even know you're name yet."
I giggled.
"I'm Elizabeth. And you are?"
"Beau, Beau Brooks."
So this is Beau! That's where I've seen him before! The picture Danielle showed me. He's the guys she was going to hook me up with...but the question is where are they at? Maybe, Beau sits with them everyday so I can just follow him.
"Where is your sister now?" he asked.
"She's with Danielle, Ella and Rose. I was supposed to walk with them but I got lost in the chaos in the hallway...leave it to me..."
He giggled.
"Oh so you hang out with my future sister-in-law and real sister?" he smiled.
"Yeah, they are the only ones in the class we were in that wasn't stuck up. Why is everyone else here so snooty?"
"Because" (clears throat). "2, 4, 6, 8, standing out is never great! Go fucktards!" he mocked a cheerleader.
It was my turn to giggle.
"You can just follow me. I sit with them everyday anyway."
I nodded and we went to the line, got our food and he lead me to the table. All the others were already sitting there.
"Oh so I see you already met him. I knew you guys would click," Danielle smiled.
I blushed and Beau shook his head.
"We met literally five minutes ago."
"So? Love at first site happens all the time," Jai said.
"Oh my God. Shut the fuck up, Jai!"
"Or what?"
"I'll kick your ass!"
"Yeah right!"
"You don't think I can take you?"
"No, I know you can't take me."
Beau flipped him off.
"Hey! You're supposed to be telling me that, Beau!" said a short guy with a lip ring.
"Daniel! Shut up!" Luke yelled.
"Daniel, honey," Beau said. "I'm sorry babe but this isn't working out. It's not you, it's me. I just can't be with you right now. I hope we can still be friends. I love you, baby."
Daniel fake cried and then turned to me
"Take care of him...uh..uh"
"Elizabeth!" I tell him.
"Elizabeth!" he replies. "Take care of him, Elizabeth. He's a good man!" he says dramatically and then smiles.
"I'm just kidding, love. You guy would be cute!"
So Elizabeth has broken up Baniel now. What's gonna happen next?
