chapter 1

TW!!!- abuse, mention of rape

Sam's pov:

I woke up to Dean banging on my door while Lucifer broke down Adam's door. I smiled as I heard Adam Shriek from Lucifer throwing him out of bed. Dean finally walked in and saw Sam smiling for the first time in a while. He smiled as he looked at his baby brother and hugged him. Sam melted into the hug, and he let out a small giggle. They finally pulled apart and saw Lucifer with Adam in his hands begging to let him go. They had a group hug on the bed until Adam ran into the bathroom and Luce chased him. Dean smiled and walked out to make breakfast.

Sam got up and hopped into the shower. He got out 10 minutes later and got dressed into a black hoodie and jeans, his ear length hair soaking wet still. As he walked down the stairs, he saw everyone at the dinner table, including his father. He started shaking but sat down on the only empty seat left, next to john. Breakfast was very awkward for the 10 minutes they sat. Dean got up and told them it was time to go.

Everyone ran outside without making it obvious they were trying to get out. Dean was driving with Lucifer next to him, and Sam and Adam in the back. As they got there, they saw a group of kids all different ages and heights. They got out of the car and Dean hugged Sam because he knew he was scared but he pushed him away. As they walked in there were crowds of kids everywhere and they stuck out like sore thumbs. They walked into the office and Lucifer and Dean talked to the ladies at the front desk as Sam and Adam sat down. The ladies called down people called Michael, Castiel, Alfie and Gabriel Novak, huh angel names...weird. Five minutes later, four kids walked in all looking different but somehow related.

I saw one kid and he was stunning. I knew i was bi when i was 11 but finally accepted myself when i was 12. He had a red lollipop in his mouth with a charming smile on his face as he was flirting with the front desk ladies, which made me smile. He looked over at me and pointing with his thumb to me, and his smile grew, and he walked over to me and touched my arm. My arm felt like it was on fire but in a good way. "Hi! I'm Gabriel, you Sammy?" he said, enthusiastically. I smiled and wrote down on my hand, 'it's Sam, but yes.' he read it and said, "mute?" I nodded my head. He smiled, "I know sign language! Yes! I can finally use it, let's go Sammy! I already got your schedule." he nearly yelled saying it, which made me flinch slightly, but I recovered with a smile. He linked his arm with mine and ran out, with dean yelling behind us saying, "be careful! He's fragile!" I rolled my eyes and smiled again.

Deans Pov

A kid in a tan trench coat walked up to me after talking to the front desk ladies. He had a shy smile on his face which was kinda cute- no dean, your straight! Don't think about this kid like that! That's weird. "Uhm- I'm g-gonna show y-you aro-und, o-okay...?" he said, stuttering. I smiled and nodded my head. We walked out and started walking down the halls to my classes with my schedule in his hands. His eyes were a beautiful light blue that lit up when he looked at my schedule. "Uhm, we have 2ad, 4th, and 7th together... and lunch." he said, kinda happy with a small smile that was barely noticeable. I smiled at him and looked at the classes we have together. History, math, and English good, the boring classes so I can hang out with him. We started walking again.

Lucifers Pov

A kid with black hair walked over to me with confidence. "Hey, so I'm Michael, I'm gonna guess your lucifer?". His eyes were a painful blue and his smile was perfect. I smiled at him and was tempted to kiss him. He grabbed my arm and started walking out. He moved his hand into mine which made me blush when I saw Sam and Gabriel walking around and Gabriel would say something, and Sam would have the biggest smile. I smiled at them. Michael saw him and hit me with his elbow. "I'm guessing Sam doesn't smile much?" he said. I nodded and looked at him. Michael grabbed my arm again and started walking me to my classes.

Adams Pov

I walked over to the kid, and he smiled at me, I can tell he's very shy. We walked out and he showed me around. I can tell he's very skinny, with blond hair and a nose piercing. Hes really cute and I'm gay but I don't know about him and I'm kinda scared Hes homophobic. We walked to my classes and hung out for the rest of the day.

Everyone hung out with their mentors during school. Everyone became friends during the day and some of them fell in love the first day.

3 weeks later

Sam's Pov

I'm hanging out with Adam watching all the marvel movies when I hear the front door open. I thought nothing of it since Dean and Lucifer are at the Novak's with Castiel and Michael.

I hear dad yell our names and we both stiffened. I looked at my little brother who had tears in his eyes. I said to Adam, "Adam, I need you to be strong for me, okay? Take my phone and call dean and lucifer that dad's home. Do NOT come downstairs for any reason. Even if you hear me crying or yelling, don't go downstairs. I love you, Adam." and gave him a kiss on the head as i ran down the stairs to my already drunk father. "Yes, father?" i said, my voice giving out on me. He looked at me with anger in his eyes. "Sam, where's your brother? I need to talk to them." "I'm not telling you. You need to stop hurting Adam, you understand me? Take your anger out on me all you want. You lay one finger on him, I will kill you." he punched me in the face, making me see stars. "YOU DO NOT GET TO TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CAN'T DO! YOU HEAR ME, SAMUEL!" I punch him and get on top of him, and I throw even more punches until he pulls my hair and punches me, getting me down again. He punches, kicks me, spits on me, pulls my hair, you name it, he probably did it. I'm screaming in pain because I can't stay quiet anymore.

Dean, lucifer, Michael, Castiel, Gabriel and chuck run in. dean, lucifer and chuck tear john from me while I'm grunting, trying to stay quiet and the grunting quickly turn to silent sobs. Gabriel and Castiel go over to me, Gabriel cradling me as Castiel checks me over and calls 911. Alfie and Michael run upstairs to Adam.

Deans Pov

I'm sitting on the couch with Lucifer and the Novak's. Turns out they have a sister named Anna and a brother named Balthazar. I wish Sam and Adam would come but they wanted a day for them. Sam is a good big brother. As we were watching the movie and laughing, Lucifer's phone rang. He excused himself and went to the kitchen. Five minutes later, he ran in with tears in his eyes. "Dean, dads' home. Adam called me crying and I could hear Sam in the background. We need to go now!" I shot up and grabbed my jacket. "Wait. what?" Gabriel questioned. "Dean, what's going on?" Chuck asked. "Our father is a piece of shit who abuses us, and he wasn't supposed to be home until next month. Sam and Adam are alone and-" i started. "Sam is getting his ass beat right now, SO LET'S GO SO HE DOESNT FUCKING DIE!" lucifer panicked. Everyone crammed into the impala, and I sped to the house which was 5 miles away. I busted down the door and what he saw was horrifying. Sam was on the ground covered head to toe in blood as he shook and cried. His screams were piercing as my father punched him over and over again. My father had blood dripping down head where I knew Sam had some good shots. Me, Lucifer, and Chuck tore our father away from Sammy. Gabriel and Castiel ran over to Sam and Gabriel cradled his head as Sam started to silently sob and cried into Gabriels's shirt until suddenly, he passed out.

Gabriels Pov

I cradled Sam and he was sobbing and talking to me. I smiled and kissed his head but made sure no one saw except Castiel. Cas smiled at us until Sam passed out. Their eyes widened and Cassie grabbed his phone and dialed 911. He talked to them for about five minutes and then people came in and took John and Sam. A few minutes after Sam and John were taken Alfie and Michael were coming down the stairs with a crying Adam. Lucifer and Dean let out a breath and attacked Adam in a bear hug. Everyone smiled at them. "Should we go to the hospital?" I asked, scared for his crush. Everyone agreed and we got into the car and drove to the hospital.
