Chapter 17

Charlotte's POV

I love seeing my family but they can be really annoying, I think that is where I get it from. Everyone loves beau and I think he is likes them as well.

We have been here for 2 days and it has been the best. My mum has even let beau stay in my room. This was a big surprise.

Today we are going shopping at the mall. I love it there burning never have enough money to go.

I have the wonderful job of waking beau up but when I turned over he was gone. Beau never gets up this early, it's 8.30am.

I walked downstairs and I see beau ad my mum having a really deep conversation. Should I listen? No it's his business, I should go back upstairs.

I was about to turn around when I heard something I think I shouldn't have.

Beau's POV - 10 minutes earlier

I woke up really early today, I don't know why. I got up and walked downstairs. I saw char's mum sitting at the kitchen table all alone. She looked like she was crying.

"Hello mrs Gibbs" I greeted her.

"Oh beau you made my jump, call me Anita" she had tears rolling down her face.

"Sorry, are you ok? You seem upset"

"I'm ok, I just found out something that I wish hadn't" she took out a crumpled letter and put it on the table.

"Do you mind if I ask what?" I don't want her to think I'm nosy.

"Here read this" she slid the letter over to me and I started to read it.

' Dear Anita,

I love you with all my heart, but I can't do this anymore. I will miss you so much but I fell out of love with you. I really don't want to hurt you, this is why I can't do this face to face. I am leaving you, please don't contact me or try and find me, because you won't be able to. I have packed all my stuff and left. Goodbye'

What I just read was heartbreaking to me, let alone for her.

"Oh my god, are you ok?" I leant over and gave her a hug.

"I will be, I was expecting this. He doesn't talk to me anymore and he is always sleeping somewhere else. What hurt the most that he didn't say goodbye to Charlotte. Her farther left me and now I have to find the confidence to tell her" after Anita said this, I heard footsteps run up the stairs and a door slam shut. I think she heard what her mum said.

"I think she may have just found out" I said to her. "I will go and see if she is ok" I got up and walked up the stairs to find Charlotte dining the one thing she promised me she wouldn't.

Charlotte's POV

I can't believe my dad would do that. What and idiot. How could he hurt my mum and then just leave without saying goodbye to my mum.

The only thing I can think to get rid if the hurt and pain from my dad, it to so the one thing I promised beau I wouldn't do.

Beau doesn't know that I have a blade in my room, and he will never find out. I reached into the draw and pulled our the little bag.

I took out the blade and took off my trousers. I ran the blade across my leg causing it to bleed. But I don't care anymore, I really don't care if I die. My dad wouldn't care either.

I kept on doing it until I heard the door swing open and cause a bang. Beau stood there in shock. I can see the hurt in his eyes.

"I'm sorry I just cant" I said trying to hide my face.

"Why? Why would you do this to yourself? You stopped doing it. I guess you heard what you mum said"

"Yes I did. My dad obviously doesn't care so why should I" I pushed him away but he wouldn't let me do it again.

He started fighting me to get the blade. He was on top of me, I was struggling to move but I will not give it up.

Because I was holding on to it so hard in my fist. I could feel it sinking into my skin. I let go of it but as I let go, beau grabbed it out if my hand and saw all of the blood in my hand.

The cuts on my hand and legs were really deep and I was loosing a lot of blood.

My head feels really light and the room is spinning. Beau is screaming at my but I can't make out what he is saying. I felt a sharp pain run through my body and everything was black.
