Three weeks later

Boruto's POV

It's been three weeks and I still haven't seen sumire, am really worried.

" Boruto what's wrong" sarada asked.

We are currently at my house, eating at the dinning table.

" Nothing" I said.

" What do you mean by nothing, you've been playing with your food with a sullen face " mom replied.

" Well I've been thinking about something, someone I mean" I said and sarada stared at me.

" You've been thinking about someone?, Is the person a girl" hima asked me with an excited face and I nodded.

" This is wonderful, big bro is in love" she laughed and sarada stared at her with an annoyed look.

Hima and the rest of my friends and family knows am dating sarada but for some reason hima doesn't consider that, likewise mitsuki and dad.

" It's not like that hima" I sighed.

" Who is she, what's her name,her house location, favourite colour " hima rushed her words, sarada looked like she was ready to explode, I'll make sure to scold hima later.

" It's sumire" I said.

" Yaaa!!!, Big bro is in love with sumire,woah this is a dream come true" hima danced round the table and mom laughed.

" It's not like that hima.... It's just that I haven't seen her for the past three weeks and it's bothering me"

" Now that I think about it, you are right. Ever since the day she gave you that necklace I haven't seen her " hima said referring to the necklace on my neck.

" I think I saw her three weeks ago, she was going to the hospital, maybe she's sick" mom said.

" Big bro and I will go to her house today" hima said.

" Sarada are you okay, you are not saying anything" I asked.

" No no am fine, just thinking" she gritted her teeth,am the only one who saw that tho.

Hima, mitsuki and I are currently at sumire's door, sarada refused to tag along, she said she will be busy with her mom.

Hima knocked excitedly on the door but got no response.

" I think the door is open, just push it " mitsuki said and I pushed the door.

The living room was somewhat dusty and void of life, some important things are missing.

I walked to the kitchen that was connected to the sitting room just like our house but ours is bigger.

The kitchen was empty,so sign of food stuff anywhere.

" Boruto" mitsuki called and I walked to the living room. He handed me a white envelope that's tainted with dust.

I tore the envelope open and saw a letter.

I read the contents out.

* If you are reading the letter know that am long gone.

The reason I left is private and I can't say.

All I wanted to say is that I moved out of konoha to start a new life, just don't look for me.

Tell Boruto I love him from the bottom of my heart,am not able to tell him how much I love him because he is with my friend, I hope I forget about him and move on.

Tell Boruto to live a good life with sarada chan, i love you so much.

Tell hima I love her, she's the younger sister I never got and I'll never forget her.

Tell mitsuki I love him too, as a friend;), I will miss you all.

Send my regards to the others, and tell sarada that I love her, even if she has done a lot of harm to her she's still my friend.

Also send my regards to lady Hinata and lord seventh.

After reading this I realized I've been crying, likewise hima.

This is surprising sumire, the most innocent and sweet person I know has left the village and to top it all she is in love with me.

" She left without saying goodbye" hima cried and mitsuki kept patting her back.

" Am sure there is a good reason she left" mitsuki assured.

I paid no attention to them cause my head was spinning, I sat on the floor with the letter still in my hand and shed the tears I've been holding.
