Opening

Athena had a problem, a problem she hid very from all most everybody. She was a bit of an alcoholic. She knew she had a problem, but she ignored it, letting it get worse over time. She knew one day she'd have to stop but, it's hard to stop when nothing else numbs your pain.

Dabi had trauma, trauma nobody knew about. He enjoyed his problem. It healed his burns, his scars. He won't stop, he can't stop. Today, Dabi was sitting at the bar at the base just downing one drink after another, he's had a shit day and wanted to treat himself to some alcohol which turned into more than anticipated but he was used to this. The drunk feeling set in and he smiled a bit to himself for no particular reason other than he could.

Athena came into the bar, she was tired. All she wanted was a drink. Once she saw Dabi she raised an eyebrow, 'he never fucking smiles. Why is he smiling?' She thought to herself before getting a bottle from a cabinet and sitting down next to him.

When he realized that he wasn't alone anymore his smile dropped immediately and he went back to his constant annoyed face "Athena" he acknowledged that she was there but didn't try to start a conversation knowing he'd say something stupid if he did. So Dabi turned his head away not even looking at her.

"Dabi." She replied, before opening the bottle and pouring in a flask. She didn't speak to Dabi much. She thought of him as a prick with a few redeemable traits. Other than that she saw him as a pawn, a pawn that would help her in her path. A path undetermined but, a path of her own making. She didn't speak much to him, other than their late night confessions.
