3rd POV

*Rumble Rumble*

          We open our story with the inside of a moving truck. It's quite dark inside, due to the door being closed. There are many boxes piled up to the ceiling, all labeled differently, such as Kitchen, living room, and many others. A large wooden dresser sits against one wall, and against that dresser, sits a young lad. He's around 18-19, wearing |a black and orange, collared, short-sleeved shirt with a green backpack, orange fingerless gloves with black and green wristbands, a green headband, dark gray slim-fit long pants underneath with black and gray shorts, orange and green slip on running shoes with black soles and white stripes.| This is Y/n L/n, and he has just moved from Olivine City in the Johto Region, to Littleroot Town in the Hoenn Region. The moving truck comes to a stop and he stands up. He stretches a little bit and makes sure he has his stuff. The door of the truck opens and he hops out. the sun blinds him momentarily, its golden rays are very bright after the dark truck. His eyes quickly adjust and he looks around the new town. It's rather small, with only a few buildings. Not much of a town... It's in the middle of a thick forest, with only 1 path out of it. To his left, his new home is standing. His mother opens the door and walks over to him and says"Y/n, We're here, Honey! It must be tiring riding with our things in the moving truck." Y/n shrugs slightly and says "Eh, it wasn't so bad. A bit cramped, though." Mom hugs him and replies "Well I hope it wasn't too bad. Anyways, this is LIttleroot Town. How do you like it? This is our new home!" "It seems nice. A quaint and cozy feel." She smiles and releases Y/n from the hug before saying  "I was thinking the same thing. Also, you get your own room! Let's go inside." They both walk into their brand-new home. Inside, multiple Vigoroth can be seen moving things and putting them into place. In the center of the room is a TV, with a dining table and 4 chairs right in front of it. Behind the TV is the kitchen, with standard kitchen appliances. "See? Isn't it nice? The Pokemon movers do all the work of moving us in and cleaning up after. This is so convenient!" Y/n nods in agreement and responds "It sure is." Mom points to a set of stairs leading up and says "Your room is upstairs. Go check it out, dear." Y/n nods once more "Will do." 

        He begins to climb the stairs but is stopped by Mom saying "Oh, and Dad bought you a new clock, so make sure to set it." He nods and continues walking upstairs. His room is a bit empty, with a bed on one side, and a computer desk with a PC just past the headboard. To the left of the desk sits a TV with a GameCube hooked up to it. Next to the TV is the aforementioned clock. Y/n walks up to it and moves the clock hands to read the correct time. His mom comes up the stairs and walks into his room. "So, Y/n, how do you like your new room?" Y/n looks around once more while nodding and says "It's nice." Mom smiles and claps happily "Good! Everything is put away neatly. They finished moving everything downstairs, too. Pokemon movers are so convenient!" They are "They are. Welp, everything moved in here, but where's Dad?" Mom  strokes her chin and says"I think he's at his gym in Petalburg right now." Y/n cracks knuckles while saying "Hm. Doing some gym battles?" "I would assume so." Mom heads downstairs, leaving Y/n alone in his room. Walking to his desk, he double-checks that everything is there, and then heads downstairs. As soon as he gets to the bottom floor, his mother calls out to him. "Y/n, Y/n! Come quickly!" Y/n rushes over to the TV where she's standing. A news reporter is standing in front of Petalburg gym, a large microphone in her hand and a smile on her face. Mom is standing right in front of the TV, looking on excitedly "Look, it's Petalburg Gym! Maybe Dad will be on!" The interviewer on the news begins to speak. "We brought you this report from in front of Petalburg Gym." The news segment ends and then switches over to the weather. Mom has a disappointed look on her face and her shoulders droop "Oh... it's over. I think Dad was on, but we missed him. Too bad." Y/n shrugs and says "Well hey, we'll see him later." Mom nods and straightens her posture and begins to sit down at the table, but suddenly looks as if she remembered something  "Oh, yes. One of Dad's friends lives in town. Professor Birch is his name. He lives right next door, so you should go over there and introduce yourself." Y/n nods and replies "Ok, I will. See ya." He slips on his shoes and heads out the door. "Bye, honey!"
